How do corrupt generals exclude the ISI? Are generals a part of some civilian network?? Your response put blame away from the most corrupted parties inside the military. You want me to tell you how many millions Gen. Shula Pasha has made while being in ISI and leaving it? Your military and the ISI structure is the most corrupted actually, it's the ISI that decides to "perceive" anyone as a threat and to counter it. These guys are the ones who created many politicians to where they are today with bags filled with cash to support campaigns against democratic elements inside Pakistan. IK is the most recent example.
However, Gen. Raheel has 0 corruption and will remain the same. Wish you had more of his standard generals before. Your country would be in top 15 fastest growing economies by now. It is the military and the ISI who kept the progress and the democracy away from people. Now, they have no choice due to international pressure and knowing someone needs to grow the economy otherwise, no money for the military and the ISI. So thus, the system is working. SAD!
By the way, the ISI has always been a result producing institute inside Pakistan, Afghanistan and India. Outside these areas, on a global level, it's got no comparison with the likes of the CIA or the MI5,6, Mossad, or the Russian FSB, etc. ISI is highlighted primarily from an Afghan standpoint, that's it.
You are wasting your time. This forum's majority of members are from Pakistani military, their children or even probably officers from the ISI itself. Trying to make sense out of anything won't work. They think the ISI is number 1 (only because of the larger WOT next door), outside of it, this agency has limited to no global experience. Doesn't have modern systems, technology and training to be effective globally like the CIA, the MI 5 and 6, Mossad, KGB/FSB etc. But you can hear all number 1 agency talk on here.
