Is the Indian military incompetent?

As a side watcher, recent fiasco gives me the impression that india is not juat incompetent but also hostile n inept

They have a lot of manpower, but are the Indians just stupid and incompetent? The Australian Defense Forces are very small (tiny) with just 80,000 personnel but I am sure they aren't as stupid or as incompetent as the Indians.

We have just 80,000 active personnel and 21,694 active reservists, if India and Australia have a fight would Australia be able to hold the Indians off?

If it comes down to holding area against an Indian assault, or pushing back an Indian force, then Australia will be in big trouble due to the sheer number of assets that India can muster.

Now if it comes to harassing Indian Navy using submarines, or taking out a tiny flotilla separated from supplies, then Australia will have the technological edge. Same goes for aerial skirmishes. The growlers and F-35s will pose a huge problem for IAF.

As far as a land battle is considered, Australia does not have recent experience in waging war. It has been part of a coalition, but it does not have the experience in logistics, supply chain, and large scale military planning.

so instead of giving us information that we never heard of and leave it to our imagination, since we Pakistanis do not have such a good imagination as Indian. I would have expected you to tell us in your original post how many lands have Indian army conquered since 1950. When you say something which is a news for everyone, you better give complete information so no dares to bother you for more info.
