The traitors within
The PPP-MQM-ANP dream team carved out by USA and UK in March 2008 with the help of infamous NRO was handed over power. It was mandated to:

1. Open nuclear sites for IAEA/US inspections, roll back nuclear program. (This mission had been assigned to Benazir in 1988 and in 1994 also when DG FIA Asghar and Rahman Malik as his assistant had reportedly provided information on Kahuta).
2. Put ISI under Rahman Malik led Interior Ministry. (This was again an old task to civilianize ISI, based on which Gen Hamid Gul was removed and retired Gen Kalue brought in as DG ISI, and in PPP’s second stint, reforms were undertaken within ISI by an Air Marshal to cut its long arm).
3. Promote/post senior officers of armed forces after getting clearance from Washington.
4. Allow NATO forces to intrude into FATA and carry out hot pursuit operations.
5. Accept India’s formula of making the LoC as permanent border and accept India’s hegemony in the region.

They couldn’t cross the Red Lines because of extraordinary vigilance and steadfastness of the Army under Gen Ashfaq Kayani and ISI under Lt Gen Shuja Pasha.

Zardari, Yousaf Gilani and his successor Raja Ashraf, Hussain Haqqani, Wajid Shams and Rahman Malik were to play key roles in the fulfillment of the agenda during the 5-year tenure. They couldn’t cross the Red Lines because of extraordinary vigilance and steadfastness of the Army under Gen Ashfaq Kayani and ISI under Lt Gen Shuja Pasha. Earlier on, Gen Musharraf had also refused the offer of joint control of nuclear sites or rolling back the nuclear and missile programs and was therefore eased out. ZAB (April 1979) and Gen Ziaul Haq (August 1988) were made horrible examples on account of pursuing the weaponized nuclear program. Nawaz Sharif (NS) was punished in October 1999 for carrying out nuclear tests in May 1998.

The rulers plundered and looted the wealth of Pakistan with both hands and broke all records of corruption. State corporations were systematically destroyed due to nepotism and corrupt practices.

The enemies couldn’t achieve their major objectives but did succeed in bleeding Pakistan and its people profusely, both in terms of human and financial losses by making use of their proxies. In Sindh, PPP and MQM (proxy of RAW and MI-6) caused financial and human bleeding by indulging in financial terrorism to the tune of Rs. 240 billion annually and in terrorism. The rulers plundered and looted the wealth of Pakistan with both hands and broke all records of corruption. State corporations were systematically destroyed due to nepotism and corrupt practices. Foreign debts were doubled and Pakistan was gripped by worst energy crisis since not a single MW was added to the national electricity grid by the Musharraf government or by the PPP government. IPPs running thermal plants installed by Benazir in 1995/6 gained monopoly.

By the time the power was handed over to PML-N government in June 2013, all economic indicators were in negative, state corporations were on oxygen and gasping for life, many industrialists had gone abroad and others were in the process of shifting on account of 20 hours load shedding, acute gas shortage and insecurity. The economy was teetering at the edge of collapse and Pakistan was seen as the most insecure and dangerous State on the verge of becoming a failed state. Morals and human values had stooped low. Criminals and corrupt were rewarded and patronized by the powerful while the honest and upright officials were hounded and persecuted. Karachi and Baluchistan had become lawless and were slipping out of the hands of the State. Over 60 militant groups were in collusion with TTP and North Waziristan had become their most powerful fort.

It apparently seems farfetched idea that so many countries are working against Pakistan but the reality indeed is not that far from it. Pakistan's geostrategic position is prone to various exploitations by big powers as it has become evident from its joining SEATO and CENTO to all the way down to the aftermath of nine-eleven and now the CPEC. On top of that, the overwhelming desire of the masses in Pakistan to have a Shariah-based national fabric attracts deeper foreign interventions and makes the matters much more worse for us Pakistanis. What the writer has not mentioned in his article is that CPEC is not an ordinary mega project. This strategic project, in fact, symbolizes the culmination of centuries old great game that, in the past, has seen such great powers as its players as Great Britian, Kzards, USSR, US/NATO, and lately China involved. That game has taken a new and drastic twist after the two regional countries (Chine and Pakistan) decided to act swiftly in the form of CPEC project after the far off powers (GB, USSR, NATO/US) were defeated in Afghanistan. Those defeated and humiliated powers now find no other option than using terrorism to bleed and try turning the tables on Pakistan and China. And that is not unexpected from our strategic rivals.

The real disappointment for sensible Pakistanis arises from the fact that certain brainless, selfish, and greedy elements from within have become a pawn for our enemies. The Panama gate and all its hullabaloo is not aimed at finishing corruption in the country. It is, in fact, being used (by some retired officials and their political puppets) as a tool to satisfy their ego, vindicate their deep grudge and hatred, and settle the scores against NS. No one in Pakistan wants to protect corruption or corrupt officials. But the real target of the dirty game being played under the name of accountability is the CPEC project. The foreign powers know how to turn the tables at appropriate time. For example, Musharraf did the disgraced deal of NRO with BB but their real masters knew when to eliminate her from the scene and bring Zardari in the play. Coward Musharraf couldn't do anything when Zardari ultimately kicked his *** and ousted him disgracefully. I would pray and wish that we don't return to the same situation where our officers wouldn't come out in public in their uniform. We can avoid that only with the support of whole nation and we need that more than ever. And the reality is that, at the moment, only NS can mobilize the masses in favor of our military and the CPEC. These selfish idiots who are trying to disgrace and cut NS out are in fact madly trying to cut the same branch that we are all sitting on.

3. Why is it not a conspiracy?
Because all the prime minister have to do is show the ownership papers and bank record of the transaction. Now anywhere in the world the only way you can prove that you own a legal property is with proof which PM didn't provide in whole 1 and a half year. Not only that our dearea prime minister holds working paper (akama) from UAE which he owns till this day ( ain't that a bit£h ) , he was receiving 10000 dirhams as late as July 2014 while he was PM of Pakistan.Now where in the world would you find a serving Prime minister of country whof holds working papers from another country while receiving salary?
Now my friends here is a conspiracy when you guys wonder why the heck we can't afford this or that for our defense it's exactly this reason. That both Zardari and Nawaz and their company are multi billionaires where their own personal business is sky rocketing.
