I suppose what we can argue is that Pakistan have already started to work with Laser Technology , the application might be dependent on the needs for various technological programs we employ

Not forgetting our F 16 's laser Guided Smart Ones

And let us never forget MARS - anti radiation missile , uses Laser Technology and proximity fuse (Good old Mirages & Thunder ammunition)

Al-Khalid also comes equipped with a laser warning system, which detects incoming ATGMs and provides the crew with better threat perception. Laser can be decent weapon in hands of like iran and pakistan who don't have experince with SAMs and who have to beg russia for every new SAM , like uncle SAM

Pakistan naval cheif has clearly said in his farewell speech that we are working on Directed Energy Weapons.
PAF cheif has also hinted about work on Directed Energy Weapons.

Just curious if Pakistan is working on Laser technology to shoot down incoming nuclear missiles, ballistic missiles, or any objects? I believe, it will be game-changer and more capable to shoot down missiles or nuclear missiles more easily next 30 years. Should we give up our nuclear missiles technology for laser weapons?
