But on a serious note, Pakistan doesn't just need better tax collection, but also better tax management. The only way possible is if there is a law that all govt contracts are transparent and open to the public. For example if there is a contract signed for a bridge to be built then a copy of it should be available on the govt website. Also any amendments in the contract should also be available.

Also the head of the provinces and the PM should have an annual presentation to their respective houses of all projects that they have initiated and completed and details provided.

That is the only way that will raise the confidence of the tax payers

I disagree, we all know the truth about Panama Leaks, PPP's corruption, etc.

But we cant do anything about it, not because we are a useless bunch, but because we are powerless, as they say, Panama is not an accusation, its a proof!
