Is Pakistan Really Isolated?

As long as it has been shown that Pakistan and Russia are no longer enemies that's all that matters. If we can have a cordial relationship with them that is enough. We don't expect anything else from Russia.

You said it's isolated in regards to Kashmir but not so much in other areas. I said it is blanket unpopular in the West not just in terms of Kashmir but other areas as well.

Pakistan primarily seeks western confirmation of it's own narrative of Kashmir which is stymied repeatedly.

Regarding other spheres like economic activity it's not affected as much anywhere.

Nawaz Sharif deserves full credit for turning around the fortunes of Pakistan.

All political parties except PML(N) are anti-Pakistan parties and deserve to be banned permanently.

It is not isolated as much because of India - India doesn't have that kind of power. It's isolated partly because of Islamaphobic sentiment in the West. Of course, America will still do anything to protect its own interests.

BTW, I have a question for Americans of Pakistani origin. I believe that the economy of Pakistan will do well in the coming few years partly because of Chinese collaboration. Do you guys invest in Pakistan? Are there any Vanguard/Fidelity funds that you recommend in order to invest?

Pakistan is not isolated because of any Islamophobia but due to its own internal instability,as soon as Pakistans internal situation improves its economy will pick up and much of this so called isolation will be over

I'm talking specifically about my country (America). The mood is very Islamophobic and my prediction is that its only going to worsen. I can share some opinion polls if you want.

That mood is focused within the white working class and certain hispanics. Essentially the Whites represent the xenophobia of America and it keeps switching from one demon to another. Has to do with long standing insecurities that represent the community.

I didn't say the mood was permanent, it's like that now.. Considering that working class whites are 35% of the population and hispanics close to 20% now, that's a significant portion even assuming that none of the rest are Islamophobic which is definitely not true..

Every country should know it's strengths and weaknesses, and what actions will result in what international reactions. When countries get this wrong they invite trouble.

Case in point, both India and Pakistan conducted nuclear tests in the same time frame. But the consequences of the resulting sanctions were very different for the two.

They go hand in hand as regardless of whether all of Trumps policies are bad or all of Clinton's are bad. Each is representing an ideology.

Yet, the US has a much stronger constitution and the US supreme court regardless of how conservative it gets wont let basic principles get demolished.

Technically, it was worse during the early Bush years than anything Trump is proposing.
