People who live in Pakistan always said why Pakistani who living abroad not interested to come back or even transfer thr money to Pakistan In fact many friends of mine who are living abroad was came to from past few years. One of my friend who have have enough money to make something good in this country.. he bought his everything money etc to Pakistan to construct some buildings and factory and provided jobs etc unfortunately when he was searched for some business in (Lahore and Karachi) both he was shocked .. his last word is ... how can anyone invest in such country in which from military to every politician is fully corrupt .. lack of security but still people interested to invest BUT big issue is .... a country who don't have basic things GAS, WATER, PETROL, ELECTRICITY (in major cities like Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad) its just a basic basic thing are not available how can anyone invest money over here its impossible like... if u invest money in start and provided job's to atleast suppose 100 people after few months when u see there is no electricity 5 5 days shortage of GAS n everything how can you will pay salary to your employee ??? at last you cant do anything and hurt many employee even they don't know u r not on fault.... just because of this things NO electricity no Gas no Water no security no one interested to spend single penny over here... he was also said that a country have RICH resources ... unfortunately govt to military everyone just sucking this country like hell.... a country where every person jhoot bool bol kar kaam chalta hey where no respect of innocent person only lutayraans.... badmash who are sitting in land crusers PRADO with illegal money and showing his **** to those who don't have cycle. .. its like extremely BS environment...

I used to work for a multi national American company that had been enjoying Fortune 50, 100 and 500 status. It was the utter personification of American technological prowess. All other competitor brands were always on the look out to note what this Master Company was up to, every other company would blindly follow its marketing strategies. And all the competitors would pursue whatever this company would introduce in the global market with certitude. This company was the unsinkabale ship. However, in the last ten years this company has suffered innumerous losses sold more than half of its assets, closed down its manufacturing concerns in Canada and Australia and has deminished in terms of business to the extent that it is no where even near Furune 1000 if there was ever such a rating. The reason was not financial weakness, nor was some other fathomable disaster. The downfall of this company was because of two simple facts. COMPLACENCY & BAD MANAGEMENT. These two cancers ******* the structure of the company was witnessed and noticed by all personel from the top management in New York to the 3rd world corporate office like Pakistan branch. Not since the top management were busy availing fat saleris and planning theirsummer vacations, no body was bothered. the lower echolon staff were just left frustated and then when downsizing became thecompnay's salvagepolicy, 1000s were sacked in a single day!

Bottom Line, Pakistan is not a poor country, on the contrary it is probably one of the RICHEST countries of the world. With its huge mineral resources, ideal 4 climates and terrain and untapped man power, it is a gross understatement that Pakistan is poor!

Pakistan is just like this American company, powerful and resourceful and capable of setting trends and calling the shots, however, it is very badly managed.... the top management is busy merrymaking while the proleterians and middle income class are silent spectators, waiting to be sacked!!

Roosevelt said, that the only thing evil takes to thrive is that 'good' men don't do anything to stop it.

Not a poor country. Even Pakistanis themselves aren't poor. Inflation is on all time high, everything is so expensive but we are still going to restaurant,s buying that flat screen etc.

We were a poor country in 1947 when we only had 1 university, no infrastructure, few hospitals but our hopes and determination were high back then and we got out of mass poverty.

Pakistan has some of the most fertile lands, best irrigation facility and hard working people . These are important to keep the masses out of poverty.

The only countries that are worse off are African nations.

Simply qouting natural resources does not make a nation rich particularly if you have no idea on how to harness that resource and make money from it.

All big countries have enormous natutal wealth.
But the BIG rich developed nations harness that resource to create $$$$

Saudi with its oil
Russia with its gas
South Africa with its gold
