Is Pakistan isolated?

Is Pakistan Isolated?
NO, Not Yet.
Do we need to do more to get into a better position?
Yes we need a lot of work on diplomatic front.

Our relation has an economic and military angle if you think by falling prices and reduced demand for manpower the GCC,s are just goijg to heavily change the strategic relation with us you are seriously naive but with difficult economic conditions we will see a mass deportation for all foreign workers from GCC,s
On the other hand our relation with EU and Russia is improving our so called analyst need to look beyond certain countries when discussing Pakistan

There is a tussle inside the govt over what our policy should be towards certain countries
Like I said, if you're not going to bring anything new to the table, like better deals, offering them to shift their industries to Pakistan, signing defence cooperation pacts etc... Someone else might.

Our Eastern neighbour has been our enemy since 1947.

Afghanistan has been unstable since the Soviet Invasion, and since Karzai, they have been turned into an indian puppet, and are being used by the enemy. This is the reason we have major deployment on our western borders also.

Iran has some serious business interests with india so they will never side with Pakistan against india, plus the sectarian angle also comes in.

But on the other side, Pakistan never was a strategic partner with any of these countries since 1947.

Pakistan's strategic alignment with China is important for the region and will benefit both states.

There are two loose blocks of nations today I believe. One is centered around the US and NATO. Another is centered around China and these days it also includes Russia because the US and NATO have tried really hard to isolate Russia. Pakistan is perhaps the closest ally that China have. So, how can you say strategically Pakistan is isolated. They have ample opportunities to trade, conduct military exercise, access military technology, sign treaties with China and Russia. This alone makes them far from isolated.

Lastly in terms of its present place in the world affairs and its ambitions - Pakistan doesn't exactly needs the kind of circle which US or UK keep. If Pakistan can get Kashmir, trade and develop infrastructure with China and Russia and keep their friendship in middle east intact that will be a really great outcome for them. So, in my humble opinion they are fairly comfortable in their current position.
Very positive assessment of the situation. The geo strategic location is as such that " they can hate us but cannot ignore us". However, with no full time foreign minister and a clear foreign policy Pakistan has been suffered many set backs on various fronts.

.
You cannot isolate Pakistan as long as

1. Afghanistan remains there
2. Pak-China strategic relations remain there
3. Western Proxies remain there in form of supporting groups in the name of throwing tyrant regiems in the Muslim world and them turn these groups into organizations like Daesh and start fighting against this terror .
4. Kashmir is one region which no matter how calm or no matter even if India gets it, it would remain to be hotbed for US interests in the long run. For that you need Pakistan around.

5. Pakistan is exploring to expand his friendship with different countries into strategic relationship such as Turkey

analyst need to look beyond certain countries when discussing Pakistan
agreed its only US-India scenario where we are losing but they are gonna align any way
and by my above post we might get a little benfit out of it

our diplomates have failed to solve the problems diplomatically..
we have finest diplomates
the scenario is not in our favor

You must think the rest of the world is blind not to see what is going on.
na just wait for the sanctions to go

As as opposite side,She award us a terrorist country, declare JM, LT,Jamat dawa as terrorist groups, stop F16s and other weapons. F16 to India, Nuke assistance to India
US gonna go for India no matter what not because of PAK but bcuz of china

the only scenario we seem to lose is US
no matter what US is gonna go for India to counter china but they will also not lose
i have explained this theory in my above post

Iran will mainly remain neutral and trade with both of us

Afghanistan was never our ally and who says we have lost Iran?
We are still on same terms with them our relations have worsened only with Bangladesh,India and due to elections in America with EU,Russia and even with the GCC,s our relation is still solid
our relations with Russia are developing not worsning..russia has opened its market for us..and about Iran, yes our relation are going worst.after Kalboshan incident and by iran getting help from India to build Chabahar Port it is getting wore..

.
Pakistan has too much of a strategic location to be isolated. Try as much as you want but you're wasting your time.

Isolated is an extreme word but I don't see Pakistan to be isolated by any stretch of imagination. However that does not mean that Pakistan's performance on foreign affairs front has been enviable.
Two major countries, IMHO, opinion are isolated namely North Korea and Iran, both are hated by their immediate neighbors.
