The South Asia war drums are being beaten at a pitch louder than usual. It seems that the two arch-rivals, India and Pakistan, are preparing for a showdown. If a report of India Today is to be believed, then there are no apparent signs of recession in the border tension. As if the tension on LOC was not enough, the men in the shadow are making the atmosphere congenial for a deadly war in the Sub-continent. If the war breaks out, it will be a catastrophe for the entire region because both the countries are well-equipped with the weapons of mass destruction.
India’s premier intelligence agency, Intelligence Bureau (IB), is working very hard to convince the Indian government that Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) is pressuring Sikh militants to revive the Khalistan Movement. The Sikh militants, as reported by the IB, are enjoying a safe haven in Pakistan for years. India Today, quoting a note of IB, has reported that these militants are under pressure to mount fresh operations in India. It is not clear if the IB report is engineered to give a reason to its government to pressure Pakistan which is already war-ravaged, having fought TTP extremists for nearly a decade. Pakistani authorities believe that TTP is fighting Pakistan as an Indian proxy.
If it is believed that the TTP is an Indian proxy, this development should be a matter of concern for the Pakistan’s security establishment. To engage Pakistan in a two-front war, TTP has already indicated that they are least interested in talks offer made by Pakistani Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif.
In this backdrop, it is to be seen if LOC firing, IB’s allegations and TTP’s fresh posture of turning down a talks offer have sinister connections to push Pakistan into a two-front war.

TTP is operating out of Afghanistan... and all forces occupying Afghanistan are party to it.

All the explosives which are used by TTP against Pakistan, pass through Pakistani air and land.

Expenses of those shipments was paid by Asif Ali Zardari.

Pakistanis have no right to complain.... as long they keep paying taxes for paying circular debt trucks laden with explosives would reach Pakistan faster. As long planes of Indian army and ANA are allowed to fly over Pakistan, TTP will florish.

If Pakistanis want peace they shall all stop aiding transit aid to RAWlibans, by all means.

They may always take help of NATO to bomb Pakistani check posts, and they even claim to have more money available, than the entire defence budget of Pakistan.

It is wrong to call them rag tag, when they are state guest of Afghan and Indian govt.
