Is Pakistan already a bankrupt state?

.
Thousands really, actually Pakistan is building dozens, if you add very small dams they are in hundreds, of medium size but that Diamer Bhasha dam is a really big one needing 14 billion USD and that amount is not in the kitty...check dam construction thread in Pakistan infrastructure...many 700 MW's, just completed Neelum Jhelum about 960MW's, many more are completed...

Also this is more about water reservoir than it is about electricity generation.

I hope the Comments in this Thread break this guys heart
Just yesterday he was ridiculing a Pakistani member for discussing about Indian Economy and today he is again behaving like a headless Chicken .....
@ Topic, Jairam Ramesh called India , the world's largest open air toilet.....one should thus assume, Modi sarkar also spends morning sitting on rail tracks.....

Benefits of Diamer-Bhasha Dam:

1. Availability of about 6,400,000 acre feet (7.89×109 m3) annual surface face water storage for supplementing irrigation supplies during low flow periods

2. Harnessing of renewable source of clean and cheap energy through installed capacity of 4500 MW

3. Reduction of dependence on thermal power, thus saving foreign exchange

4 .Employment opportunity, particularly to the locals, during the construction and operation

5. Creation of massive infrastructure leading to overall socio-economic uplift of the area and standard of living of people.

6. Increase the lifespan of Tarbela dam by 35 years. The other two big dams Dasu and Bunji is downstream to Diamer Bhasha dam and this will benefit the downstream dams in holding silt/soil accumulation.

I appreciate PM imran khan intension to build an important dam for pakistan. But the way Pak PM is begging for donations to build a single dam in the country, it seems Pakistan already a bankrupt state which don't have money to build even a single dam. Pakistan claims to have over $9 billion as reserved. Why don't you use these reserved dollars to build that dam if its so important for the country?
Why don't you reform the tax system and warn Pakistanis to pay taxes or else face punishment instead of begging. This is shocking that a country of over 200 million people don't have money to build a single dam even after so many loans and chest thumping CPEC.
So question arise , Is Pakistan already a bankrupt state?

Indian angle-:

There is a question arise is India , should India help Pakistan in this worst economic situation?
If Pakistan ask India, im sure Indian govt will help as Mr. Modi also want good progressive neighbourhood but ofcourse on some terms and conditions which is cool for Pakistan in this worst economic situation to save country future. What do you think?

I m creating this thread for good intention as im favour of a progressive neighbourhood. So don't troll , name calling and abusing.
HEY FOOL,

IT IS WE, INDIANS WHO PUT THEM IN THIS SITUATION BY MAKING THEIR CORRUPT POLITICIANS TAKE MANY LOANS. THERE IS NO REASON WHY WE SHOULD BAIL THEM OUT.

Just a minor correction; Bunji is actually upstream to Diamer Bhasha but nonetheless collectively yielding same result.

Right, it will have the highest electricity generation capacity with about 7100MW's.

The feasibility study of the project was carried out by joint consultant firms Artelia of France & Mott MacDonald of UK. The Gravity RCC dam will be 190 m high and will have an installed capacity of 7100 MW.[2] In 2009, Pakistan and China signed a MoU for the construction of Bunji Dam. The accord was signed between Ministry of Water and Power, Pakistanand Three Gorges Project Corporation, China.[3]

Troll, go find some random tweets to create threads. This is not a section you are use to be.
This is Economic section.

I think all Indian "economic experts" should focus more on building toilets, instead of worrying about dam construction and bankruptcy in a neighboring country...
See even negative threads can have some positive results as we now have a consensus that Indian toilet crisis is far too urgent and it's showing Indian state's dire situation of not being able to provide such basic amenity to it's people as such not in a position to help others at all.

I am assumig this is a honest question. The problem with dams in the past has been lack of vision and political will. It's about agenda. If any of the previous governments had really gone into building dams they would have built them. By asking the nation to donate building dams has been turned into a national priority. And this will bring on board everybody. I doubt the money from donations will build the dams but certainly the political energy that is being garned will unite the nation towards this goal. And that is what this is all about.
