Media should be neutral, but i don't think it is like that anywhere in the world. But still they show some maturity or all are not the clones or controlled.

In Pakistan media is with Pakistan.

for example who ironical it is that when country was under going terrorist attacks and serious problems like load shedding etc our media was focusing on cheap news like marriage of sania shoieb etc

What!!!!! Pakistan media received aid from US.??? A russian channel reporting that Pakistan media received aid from US... Why we r believing on others media? and not ours...??

Other things pointed out in this media report r good and thought provoking but this thing,which I pointed out above, is absolutely not acceptable.... Why they quoted from anti Pakistan media.!!!!!!!!!

Depends where you look really, there are many publications on science and technology from pakistan, also on economics. But if you come here you will not find much science and technology stuff.

As for media, because of its growth. It is right in highligting the problems of Pak but sometimes gets carried away with propoganda. Its a business and you expect it to be like this, it is like this in all parts of the world.

See media focuses on what is in demand. they just want to increase readership/viewership.

From this forum, i believe when child reaches 5-6 yrs, he is well aware of different theories. But irony is that he can't judge good/bad or real/fake.

“Critics analysis” or talk shows in fact is a tool to pressurize govt. and govt. departments. It is simply not the media’s responsibility to “direct” the thoughts of layfolk and even govt. News like PTV Khabarnama is a good example (apart from govt. praising), only 3-4 times a day and that’s it. If media is that much “Pakistani” than why not using their precious peak time for education, creating awareness about the rights of common people, awareness about law (I can bet 90% Pakistani even don’t know about the common laws of country), religious awareness, science and technology, innovation, tolerance in society etc. etc. The only and only thing what we are witnessing on TV channels is either fashion, glamour, talk shows, dramas (Indian copy) etc. That’s the reason I am still a proud PTVian......
