There is no proof of vietnam owing those island. All are just fabricated history maps with vietnamese forumer claiming as truth. Basically no historical facts. Then vietnamese forumer just produce some random old Chinese map which is not even official use and then claim as official of China recognised vietnam ownership.?What a joke!

No. Taiwan is pro-DPP, pro-USA and anti-China. KMT is a dinosaur on the verge of extinction. Time is running against mainland China in this political respect although military balance is to mainland's advantage. Let's not delude ourselves. Taiwan is de jure independent when DPP takes power and returns back to de jure ROC when KMT takes power. Absolutely no cooperation is possible.

Taiwan just wants to do business with everyone.

They were the one who invested heavily into PRC, contributed to PRC development and continue to do business with the PRC today.

Likewise, Taiwan was one of the first country (not SK or JP) to invest heavily into Viet Nam and played a role in helping VietNam to grow. And continue to invest into VietNam today.

If Taiwan is hostile to both VietNam and the PRC, why would they invest in the first place? Taiwan is a friendly country that just wants to do business. Why the hate?
