Is Indian economy really better than Pakistan?

Actually, I'm not on about anything anymore here. I said whatever I had to and you can refer to my previous posts if you wanna educate yourself a tiny bit.

If you just wanna kid around doing what people usually do on this website, well be my guest and enjoy our morning.

Yes, whatever you said has been disproven. Your country is just barely ahead on per capita terms, and once Pakistan's economy gets rebased all this talk of bharat being so far ahead will look even funnier than it does currently.

.
How does that play into the GDP per capita argument? Are you guys back to using absolute figures?
GDP per capita Argument ?? Last I check India has larger GDP per capita estimate than Pakistan

And IMF and World bank only predicts that gap will increase further Check trends

.
For a full 55 plus year Pakistan was ahead of the curve...vis a vis India...This is just a brief period with all that war on terror issues in Pakistan...now within a few years...Pakistan will be ahead of the curve again...

That (future projections), again, is not the topic of the thread. We could talk about it if you start another thread.

As it stands today, as far as the OP is concerned, Pakistan isn't even in the same room as the big boys.

.
If I Start projecting Indian growth estimates It will touch Double digits

India Has multiple projects like CPEC

Right...CPEC is mostly about power and infra sector projects in Pakistan..you can add SEZ's. For China it is mostly about energy corridors, shifting industries, reaching the warm waters of Arabina sea...in reality Pakistan with CPEC will attract much more investment than the expenditure on CPEC...as most infra projects do....

CPEC set to attract $150b investment
According to a Khaleej Times report, the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is planned to shoot up for a $150 billion investment, and a new whole world of business that will make it the largest economic region, as details of its size and stature are unveiled this week.

Yes, and we're saying bharat is just barely ahead in that regard.

And IMF and World bank only predicts that gap will increase further Check trends

There are couple things they are not taking into account:

1) CPEC
2) Pakistan rebasing its economy

I mean, this discussion will look funny once CPEC starts bearing fruit in few years time and Pakistan rebases its economy. Not only will Pakistan's growth rate will be as good or better than bharat's, its GDP per capita will also be higher.

Really? Let's list out those projects. Keep in mind CPEC is already 60 billion worth and growing.

As it stands today, as far as the OP is concerned, Pakistan isn't even in the same room as the big boys.

And this room of big boys doesn't have bharat in it either, like you want it to be.

My dear india Have 10 projects running Like CPEC First Do you research Check DMIC

If you see industrial and taxation policy It far better than pakistan

Go research about DMIC
As of Now CPEC only able To attract few million of FDI

60 billion estimate Is of 2040 of complete Project

How big is each one of those and how quickly is work happening on them?

Just to give you an idea, how quickly CPEC is going.

By end of 2018, Pakistan will have added roughly 10,000 MW power - about 60% of its current supply. All these projects are under construction and some ahead of the schedule. And that's just the start. There are a lot more projects in the pipeline after - Dasu HPP, Bhasha Dam, Munda Dam.

By 2019, Pakistan will add nearly 2,500 KM of fully grade separated, access controlled motorways.

By 2021, the entire railways ML-1 line will be rehabilitated to support 160 km/h travel.

There is inter-city transit for all the major cities included as well.

And again, this is just the start. Not only are there massive projects, they are being constructed far faster than bharat can ever imagine.

That DMIC(Delhi Mumbai industrial corridor) is all local India centric with no other country involved, with no stakes in it, this is unlike CPEC with China having huge stake...sometimes cooperation is better than just thinking about own thyself.

CPEC success redoubles as success for China and Pakistan....best of luck with DMIC and other projects. It will attract an investment of 150 billion USD in a short time period.

Is it under construction? It doesn't appear to be. And it certainly doesn't appear to be as big as one CPEC, forget 10 CPECs.

No, 2030. And again, projects are being added to CPEC thick and fast. As well, it will attract lot more investment than just the initial investment. The status quo is changing quite quickly and you guys are still stuck in the 5 year old status quo.

Problem Is You not ready To research About India Rather repeating yourself like broken record India has 5 times power generation And infrastructure capacity than Pakistan

Yeah India is nowhere. Our economy is doomed and should completely model our economy after Pakistan's. After all we should all follow the leader, Pakistan. :enjoy:

Yes, sarcasm the best you can come up with after your "bharat is way ahead" argument gets shredded to pieces. And even poor use of sarcasm at that. At least try to use sarcasm in a way that reflects what the other person is saying.

And India has 7 times the population. So why do you keep mentioning absolute figures over and over when we know we're talking per capita?

. .
Yes you completely shredded my argument to pieces. Oh boy, the frustration!

Enjoy your day man.

I'd first suggest how to learn to properly use sarcasm (in your previous post) as a form of argument. First thing, at least try to make it sound like something the other person is saying or would say. You are neither here nor there. Using sarcasm but implying something the other person never implied or never would've implied is really bad use of sarcasm, and usually would fail you when it comes to argumentation.
