I love that word in the article. It describes the Indian media to a T.

For 60 years, they have been using Pakistan as a punching bag, a scapegoat to drum up jingoistic fervor. Now they tried it against China, and got a rude awakening slap in the face.

The Indian media is like a spoilt, unruly child. The parents have pampared it for too long, and every once in a while it will go and do something terminally embarrasing, causing the parents to apologetically try and rescue the situation.

You are confusing our armed forces with our media.

For 62 years Pakistan has been trying (unsuccessfully) to break up India, while its own constituent parts are coming unstuck thanks to the weak glue of Islamic identity giving way to Islamic anarchy.

And in the above case, the parents and child are both stewing in the same pit, warts and all.

This is past data, right now our PM is doing very good job, he is best in my opinion. We also have other good CM like Delhi CM Shila Dikshit, M.P. CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan and MP's like Chidambaram and Pranab Mukharjee. The list of good people in governance is increasing. I believe this is because of media.

By the way, I did not read the full text but if people mean India is not 1 big nation, then they are living in dreams. I do not want to argue with people whose knowledge of India is purely from internet and media and does not have any first hand experience.
