Ummm....The west endorses the "rise of China". "The future super power, China!". They do it just as much, actually even more for China.

the only country right now which poses a threat to american ambitions of global hegemony is china - thats what the us and west want to maintain.
china is in eurasia - the most important and volatile region in the world.
