Is IAF S-300 Deployed to Western Air Command?

Several members in another forum told me currently all (six) S-300 air defence systems had deployed to Western Air Command. Is that true?

They also told me that earlier IAF used six S-300PMU-2 air defence systems, now all six upgraded to S-300VM version. Is that true?

S-300VM Air Defence System

S-300VM "Antey-2500" is the new version of Air Defence System, It is designed to defeat short- and medium-range ballistic missiles with a launch range of up to 2,500 km, ballistic and cruise missiles, strategic and tactical aircraft, as well as loitering ECM platforms and high precision weapon systems in multiple air threat conditions, a complex air situation and severe ECM environment.

Missile

The 9M82M missile is intended to defeat tactical, theater and medium range ballistic missiles, as well as aerodynamic targets at a range of up to 200 km. The missile is controlled throughout the entire flight trajectory.

The 9M83M missile is intended to engage tactical and theater missiles as well as aerodynamic targets at short and medium ranges.

The S-300VM system is mounted on tracked cross-country vehicles provided with self-contained power supply and navigation systems, surveying and positioning equipment.

Western Air Command, IAF

The Western Air Command (WAC) is the regional command of Indian Air Force headquarted in New Delhi. It is the largest and most important Air Command of the IAF, comprising of 16 Air Force Bases (AFBs), and is responsible for aerial defence of North India.

WAC's Area of Responsibility extends from Kashmir to Rajasthan, covering the states of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and New Delhi.
