More lies, the whole world knows your country for supporting terrorism, walk around in the streets and ask people what is the first thing comes to your mind when you hear Saudi "Arabia" they will either say terrorism or ignorance...Because they are not Daesh, Al-Nusra or the Al-Assad regime. They have not committed any crimes either. Nor are they religious "fanatics". FSA has Christian brigades. They are the Syrian people.
Why are you so busy focusing on FSA when Al-Assad is mass-murdering people on a daily basis alongside Daesh which he helped create?
Assad regime released extremists from jail, says former intelligence official | The National
So just because USA's adventure in Iraq was a failure you are going to support every genocidal dictator in the Arab world against the will of the people?
Luckily sane Americans and the American leadership is not thinking like this.
Yes, facts are "lies".
You continue your nonsense.
A few months ago you told me that you do not care about Arab countries. Only Syria. If you cared about Arabs you would speak out against their biggest killers - which are native dictators. Not the West or Israel. Those same dictators help create fanatical people due to their brutality and fanatical behavior.
Yes, and all you can do is hating the same West that you live in and which feeds your family.
So who's fault is it then? Was there i$i$ in Libya before nato revolution?Hey guys, please leave my friend Al hassani alone.
I agree with what all of you have said here so far(well to some extent). You cant just put the blame on the west/U.S/NATO alone. Kadaffi himself was a dictator no doubt about that.. Al hassani is right about th So we in the west simply intervened after immense public pressure from the Arab world/media/diplomats etc while these Arab countries took a back seat themselves and watch, then start criticizing the 'imperialistic west' for all evils/mistakes when things go wrong(as always). So the main blame lies with those Libyans(naive ones i mujst say.lol) and Arabs who supported the foreign intervention themselves(Not with NATO/west/U.S), and Kadaffi's own stubborness to step down or at least put someone else in front(a figure head) in power while he seats back and pull all the strings obviously(seems he didnt know how to play politics IMO, and that can be fatal.lol).
So in short, stop blaming the west/NATO/U.S for every wrongs in this world. The primary blame should lie with the main actors/people in these regions/countries themselves, any other actions our leaders take/intervene are secoundary. Fix your house and put it in order, then there will be no space for destabilization/intervention in the first place. The world is made for the strong, no place for the weak/divided. hihihihihihihi....sad but true.
In conclusion, i must say Libya is now a failed state(it was wayyyyyyyyyyy better before the 'revolution') i myself spent some holidays there(when it was still Africas wealthiest country)., Thats a huge fall from the top for it today.loool At least this should serve as an example to other African/Arab/muslim countries on how to avoid instability/conflict/intervention. i Libyans/Arabs/muslims themselves should be blame for their own actions or inactions. Afterall, it was the Arab league itself (and Libyas own neighbours ) who were pressuring/begging the U.S to bomb their own 'muslim brrother' country. As i always said, you cant eat your cake and have it. So its funny to see all these Arabs/muslims blaming only the west when things go wrong. Anyway, they can keep whinning/blaming others if it suits them, we couldnt care less. They also blame us for making them hate each other and killing themsleves(Shias against Sunnis.).........Pathetic indeed.
dont believe everything you see on TV we in Egypt are facing terror organizations and our president and government has the support of the majority of the peopleI criticize hypocrites. Which the GCC clearly are with their support of 'democracy' in Syria and the support of dictator tyrants in Egypt and Bahrain. All the while totally ignoring the Palestinians.
Arab spring is nothing but Israeli spring, the west was smart it started out with removing their puppets just to manipulate Arabs, and then their old puppets got replaced with new puppets, the main reason of "Arab" spring is to take down any country that opposes the west and replace them with puppets... I didn't know you were that naive..@mike2000
Libya is the size of KSA yet only has 5-6 million inhabitants. Libya plays close to no role in the Arab world. The only Arab countries that genuinely care about them are neighboring countries. Egypt, Tunisia and Algeria. All 3 want as little to do with Libya as possible. During Gaddafi Libya was a pain in the *** for all 3 countries and today Libya is exporting terrorism to those 3 countries and instability. Just like under Gaddafi.
Libya was also traditionally one of the most impoverished and isolated Arab countries together with Mauritania historically. Here I mean in the past 150-100 years. Libya on its own has a very impressive ancient history like almost every single Arab country.
Libya has a lot of potential due to natural resources, its location and small population. Libya was the richest African state thanks to this.
Arabs played a limited role in the dismiss of Libya. It was all local Libyans and NATO which here means mostly the West.
There are 450 million Arabs out there (the very big Arab diaspora included here) and thousands of Arab media, newspapers etc. Most with different ideologies, agendas etc.
Now of course when you have a dictator that ruled a country for 42 years who is murdering his own countrymen just because he does not want to leave his throne (just like Al-Assad) and you had the "Arab spring" which initially was a genuine movement from ordinary Arabs wanting more social and political, you will have leading media such as Al-Jazeera and Al-Arabiya taking the side of the Libyan people.
True, it's mostly the fault of Libyans themselves that they cannot live in peace and that they are divided on tribal and regional lines instead of cooperating now and establishing a well-functioning state.
Anyway you also totally omit that Libya is part of the ME and Arab world which right now is engulfed in many conflicts. You forget that Libya was ruled by a dictator for 42 years and that a civil war just has taken place. It takes a lot of time to restore stability and for Libya to reach its promising potential.
There are two Arab users in this thread. Me and Syrian Lion. I don't blame the West he does. All the remaining posters are Pakistanis, Bangladeshis and 1 American.

And yes I oppose the western government actions in the region, however it has nothing to do with people... When I say the west I mean their governments
dont believe everything you see on TV we in Egypt are facing terror organizations and our president and government has the support of the majority of the people
GCC stand with us was the right path to take on 1 side Egy army with the majority of the people the other side an extremest organization( the brotherhood )
Dont you know that unity among Arabs means the end of the Western power interference in the region? It means the end of their dollar and euro in Arab world, you talk of Arab unity but yet you call Gaddafi plan of golden Arab dinar insane... Why? Why don't Arabs start with one common currency and for the west to use it? I tell you why, because if you go against the west, they will invade you, heck even gcc don't have their common currency... You need to understand getting rid of Western puppets will be the first step to a strong Arab world..The "Arab Spring" to begin with was a genuine movement of the ordinary man and woman that called for more social and political rights in each and every Arab country.
How can you honestly deny this?
I had personally hoped that this would reach the GCC too as the only major problems the GCC have (which otherwise has been blessed with much) is the lack of political and social freedom. I was hoping that the dismiss of corrupt Arab leaders, dictators etc. would pressure other remaining Arab leaders to reform.
Now I have no doubt that this genuine movement has been hijacked by Islamists and been infiltrated by foreigners.
Stop living in a "us and them" mentality Syrian Lion. If the Arab world was united and ruled by the right Arabs we would become a superpower on our own. We have it all. More land than Russia (the world's by far largest country), more people than anyone else outside of China and India, more natural resources than anyone, a extremely strategic location between the world's 3 main continents (Europe, Asia and Africa), access to major sea routes and trade routes, enormous potential, YOUNG and growing populations, ancient history rivaled by very few and nobody in seniority, experience of controlling empires for millenniums and centuries etc.
I am not your enemy nor am I a sheep. If you knew my views and me personally you would never say such a thing.
All Western governments have been elected by their people but I get your point. I don't agree with Western politics on a lot of fronts but I don't hate the West.
ok first it was the Egyptian people who protested and the Egyptian army who helped them and side with the people the revolution or coup would have happened no matter what the world want. can you tell me that it was KSA that got this people to protest ?Well there was a military coup supported by KSA that overthrew a democratically elected President. There's no getting around that. I'm not pro Morsi or pro MB, its just that countries should stop meddling in each other's affairs. What kind of message is being sent in the Arab world that leaders can support coups or send insurgents and weapons in their neighboring countries because they may disagree on this or that? As far as Egyptian internal affairs are concerned if Egyptians wanted to overthrow Morsi on their own, that was their prerogative. America and especially Israel were worried after Mubarak was ousted because he was their puppet. Now Al Sisi is their puppet and its business as usual. You went from dictatorship, to democracy and back to dictatorship. I don't understand how a coup can speak for the people more than the ballot box. Obama for example was elected by a slim 51% (Morsi got 52%) of the electorate. Does that mean that the remaining 49% can, with the help of a foreign country overthrow the Obama government and declare themselves the true representative of the people? We can see government forces killing protesters in Egypt and Bahrain. Both supported by KSA. The same KSA that wants to remove Assad in Syria. This is the injustice and lawlessness that is plaguing the near east.

Also you can see why the Arab spring never reached Palestine even that Palestinians needed it the most.. Because it is Israeli Spring planned by the west to remove any government that doesnt say yes to them... Again the so called Arab league is nothing, they always call on nato and West to do everything... So don't deny there aren't western puppets in Saudi and rest of gcc.... And yes I rather suffer but live freely and in sovereignty.. Not in a country that can only say yes to the west... And Arab spring reached gcc but the west didn't make it a big deal because the west owns gcc.. They have their largest fleets in gcc.... Dude for real enough with you, the west will never care about Arabs and will never work for them..

if morsi and the brotherhood are democracy then i choose a dictatorship
i dont support insurgency in any country and i think supporting such groups will backfire on us all
if protests are armed then the police have the right to deal with them accordingly we have a big number of killed policemen from shots fired by protesters

I agree that the original anti Mubarak protests were genuine. That's why everyone was powerless, scared and hesitant because they didn't know that to expect. The spirit of that revolution was hijacked though and now Egypt is back to square one with another dictator. To say that you prefer dictatorship over the people's democratic will explains it all. Just don't be surprised if others disagree up to the point of taking up arms.
this happens to all of us there is always people who hate you and your country for no reason just likeI don't consider the West or anybody as a hindrance for positive Arab unity. All it takes is better leaders and more political and social rights. To educate people too and make them understand the potential and need for cooperation.
Today few people think like me because it is all about being an Islamist and nothing else or being against your own countries, culture etc. or a nationalist only caring about your own country in a globalized world.
Cooperation should happen in an inclusive way and not be dominated by anyone like in the past. For intense when Egypt and Syria united or when Iraq and Jordan did it.
I did not call the plan for insane. I just called Gaddafi as a madman that changed opinions very often. He was unreliable.
The West has helped the Arab world too and the whole world with technology, science etc. which created development.
Everything in this world is about interest which is why I often do not like the modern world much.
GCC are indeed allies of the West and if GCC became anti-West there would indeed be consequences.
No Arab country on its own is a superpower so nothing anybody can do about it.
In the GCC like everywhere else in the Arab world you have nationalists, socialists, conservatives, liberals, Islamists, secularists etc. Many of them are fighting instead of working for the betterment of their countries.
If just humans could solve their biggest differences in peace.
I cannot see his post since he is on my ignore list due to constant trolling but he blames every problem in the world on the GCC. This thread, which has nothing to do with the GCC, he turned into talk about GCC from the very beginning. Those people have no clue about what they are talking about like many users here on PDF. I might as well discuss Hijazi sweets with a Inuit in Arabic.
