China is not a superpower. US is last superpower since with it the concept of superpower itself ends. China has money and some conventional tech. It has nowhere close to the technological dominance that the US and Soviets had over the rest of the world. copying achievements of the US 40 years ago will not bring China anywhere close to it,

NO! We are NOT superpower. We don't like to be superpower. We will still be a developing country even for the next 100 years.

Historically, China has always wanted be China. Now, the Chinese have realised that to be China world need to be Sinofied; hence, the One Belt, One road. Those who understand the Chinese box will know that China will manage the paradoxes. Hopefully, China can keep peace around herself for two generations...world will be better off.

Ok, vietnam will always be limited by the size of it's economy. But in all other terms china's technological development is actually exactly equal to India.

There is nothing insulting. In many technological areas even India is ahead of China forget US. There is no doubt China has developed from a poverty stricken country to middle income country in last 30 years is a remarkable feat. But superpower status is a different ball game.
