But our Ansar VDP, Police, BNCC, retired armed forces personnel and other paramilitary will fight a war. This is how it was designed to stop Indian invasion after assassination of Sheikh Mujib.

You do know that that situation will never happen in the near future.For Heaven's sake,why on earth are we going to invade a nation as populous as BD considering the fact that it's not a mineral rich country and majority of it's population are Muslims and hence anti-Indian in nature.So,invading and occupying BD will need more than 2 million boots on the ground,hence it's not a viable option for us to invade BD.

Thanks for sharing this info. Until its not viable, we can breath for some time. Invasion are not options while pro-indian govt isin power. But, when Anti-Indian govt would regularly poke its border with activating BGB then India might put some weightage on its military. Who knows what is next. As India is ready for itself, we should be ready to defend. So we are working hard for defence capacity buildup. Also, a strong military is also necessary when muslim country like problems arise like ISIS, Taliban, Al-Qaeda. For any internal/external threat we doing the right thing by increasing capacity.

732000 is way too high a figure for a mercenary force. Its a drain on BDs limited resources IMO. Rather 10-20 K should do with the task of defence given to India, just like Bhutan does it.
