Ironic rice of India

1. India habitually lies to Bangladesh and makes false promises.

At the time of issuing such promises India recieves positive publicity and to a degree mission accomplished. They then either when there is no media attention renege on their promises or invalidate them with bureaucratic redtape.

2. This is an Awami League minister pointing out Indian duplicity and this is the "pro-Indian" party in power, the same "pro-Indian" party that will not even really allow Indian transit via Bangladeshi territory.

3. With increased Bangladeshi economic growth and the resultant increase in social media, nationalism and political awareness Bangladeshi society will force Dhaka governments to not accept such backstabbing fron New Delhi and will also call for the devious and dishonest politicians of New Delhi to abandon their ways.

An advice to our BD friends:

Breakdown the bulk contract into smaller batches.

If the batch of rice quality upon receipt does not match order quality on contract, you have to state in the master contract that the remaining batches of rice supply will be cancelled until the quality is matched.

This trading terms though have the shortcomings of increasing transportation and administration costs and time of delivery!

also, some people above have to learn what a "letter of credit" means in international trade!

India can not even feed its own population

India has enough food stock to feed its people. India offer Rs 2/kilo grains to poor people. Problem is the corruption which eats part of the subsidy. But still part of the benefit reaches the poor.

No one is dying in India due to Hunger. Even if some one dies due to hunger in remote area, The case is seriously taken. And most of the news which you may read that people are hunger are from the town where the migrant labourer don't have proper paper/document to avail the government benefits.
