In second match scotland scored 310/9 runs in chase of 313/10 against WI. Scotland lost this match by 3 runs from wining position.

It seem these associate teams of ireland,scotland and zimbabw will make this world cup intersting as they performed exceptional in warm up matches

Test status is only given if you have the proper cricket infrastructure and neither of Ireland or Afghanistan have that. Cry all you want but that ain't happening.

Bangladesh hasn't quite improved that much since we had test status and a fixed member of the ICC World Cup. But on the other hand teams like Ireland, Netherlands and even Afghanistan have made some good progress.

BCB is too afraid that one day it may lose its test playing status to one of those countries that it refuses to play the national team against them.
