No wakeup call, Both Saudi F-15's and Pakistani F-16's have Israeli hardware in them. Initially for them both the US made sure to scratch out Made in Israel from these components before delivery.
Later however, Pakistani F-16s lived on the lifeline of Israeli electronic parts for their F-16's, purchased via nations like Jordan.
Early UAV's like those from IDS freely used Elbit made Flight computers.
If we still choose to live in a fools paradise to think our hands are washed with the purity of zam-zam and no Israeli component will touch us.. then we are even bigger fools than imagined.
Never mind the F-16s, just look up who made the Centrino chips used in Wi-Fi.
And then, please find out who made the following and how widely they are found:
8088 processor, math coprocessors, Ethernet communication chips, cache and memory controllers, and the Pentium processor.
Oh wait, then find out who is making the new chips for mobile use.
And if all that is not enough, start looking at sources of software modules.
