News of today:

Iraq has banned the import of Iranian-made cars. Iran exports popular Saiba and Samand models to Iraq.

The ban went into effect at the beginning of the year. The Iraqi authorities blame alleged low-quality manufacturing and sub-par safety rating of the Iranian cars as the reasons for large number of fatal accidents involving those cars and hence the decision to ban them altogether. (Tabnak, 19 January)

The imports authorities also cited fuel standards used in Iranian cars as a main reason behind their decision.

“Iraqi fuel is well refined, something that Iranian companies have not observed,” said Adnan al-Sharifi, the CEO of the state-owned car-import corporation. (Al-Monitor, 19 January)

Uskowi on Iran -

If even third world countries like Iraq stop importing Iranian-made cars, what has Iran's automobile industry become? Iran is slowly becoming an economical and industrial joke in the region.

I think you did not understand the Arabic words in:

IRANIAN made cheap cars in IRAQ !!!

It means they are making fun of Iranian cheap cars as "cheap, inexpensive, a car for 14 passengers, F16!, made in US"
It means it is very cheap for poor (but cool :p) guys.

I have read that article on Almonitor today but I have also seen Iraqi Arabic websites that denied that. Ask the Iraqis on the forum. Probably, it is like the Shia Sunni problem in Iraq. Shia want the car, Sunnis want it banned!

Without sectarian disagreements; Iran have to be ashamed of not being able to produce good quality cars for countries like Iraq, with all my respect to my Iraqi friends.

. . .
we have different production lines ...

& different qualities ...

for example :

for Russia & eastern Europe >>> A+

for Latin America >>> B

for Iraq & ... >>> D+ :D

You are a strange person...Rather than criticizing Iran, you should be happy that inspite of so many problem at least Iran has the technoligical capacity to build cars....Are you really from Iran or a Pakistan national like your flag...Why do you jump off to show low to your own country product...

A nation grows because of criticism; not of (Indian) fanboys who try to impress other fanboys on the internet of their country's achievements. I criticize everyone if I feel its necessary.

I was not criticizing Indians in particular, but the general trend online of people who lack the ability to criticize the (lack of) achievements of their own country.
