ISLAMABAD (Online) – Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani will soon visit Pakistan, Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zareef told Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on the sidelines of Heart of Asia moot in Pakistani capital.

The foreign minister lauded Pakistan for hosting Heart of Asia Conference to ensure peace and stability in the region.

He said Iran is determined to work with Afghanistan and Pakistan to eliminate extremism and terrorism from the region.

“We hope that all obstacles in the way of economic cooperation between the two countries will be removed after lifting of sanctions,” said Mr Zareef.

PM Nawaz said Iran and Pakistan have historical bonds which will become stronger in the future.

I wish it too but Iran announced that its domestic consumption is increasing and is cutting half or supplies to Turkey. If Iran does not have enough gas how can they export to Pakistan ?

well now that is not my concern if they are no longer selling then fine but at the time they were selling. hell they want to sell to india but don't have enough to sell Pakistan. sounds like bull droppings

Iran is becoming unreliable supplier when it told Turkey it is going cut supplies of natural gas in half due to higher consumption in Iran while at the same time negotiating gas supplies to India. Pakistan should concentrate on Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan gas pipeline.

Iran is becoming unreliable supplier when it told Turkey it is going cut supplies of natural gas in half due to higher consumption in Iran while at the same time negotiating gas supplies to India. Pakistan should concentrate on Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan gas pipeline.
