Iran's Persian Gulf gambit takes shape

Iran should do what once Japanese did they SANK 95% of of American Navy ... when they were sanctioned

This time they should finish all 100% of it if they can it would be great benefit to man kind
95% of the US Navy? Not sure who to blame, the math or history instructor at your "school".

As far as a shooting "incident" with Iran, they would need to start it...been living in the US long enough to know they aren't pumping for a fight yet (you can actually "feel" it when something big is in the works)

United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, genius.:usflag:

Genius ,, go search it more clearly nor Iran neither USA are not part of that conviction of blah blah blah .

By the way that convinction is not about war time and we are at economical war with some countries . More importantly that convinction is not about territorial water . And also we simply put some small tax on the ships that pass through the strait after all maintainng it and keeping it safe from pirates and repairing it and such needs money , let say I guess 15-20 % taxation of cargo value on every ship that pass tnrough our water looks fair to me.

......
When did Iran arm shias in Pakistan?Any proof for your word?.....

Your question is typical of the ignorant supporters of terrorist Iranian regime.

Just read up a bit about history. Soon after Khomeni took power in Iran, he used petro dollars to spring up Shia political and militant organizations. Imamia Student Organization (ISO), Tehrik Nifaz Fiqah Jafria, and Sipah mohammad were formed by indoctrinating Shia youth. Majority of these youth were given free travel to Iranian training centers in the name of "religious tours".

Pakistani Sunnis militants then got money from Saudi, and the rest they say is history.

Khomeni regime did the same to many other countries where Shias population was willing to do the bidding of a terrorist Mullahs.

In urdu we have a saying "Is hamam main sub nungay hain" (Every type of Mullah is naked in the terrorist madhouses"

peace.

Iran is the largest and most resource rich, amongst the countries who have ever faced US sponsored economic-military sanctions. The toll of sanctions has weakened the countries economy but not at the level to crumble it, until it has the backing of Russia & China. In my view US's ploy is to isolate the Iran amongst neighboring countries and Iran easily trapped itself by openly siding with Syrian regime of Al-Assad. The longevity of unresolved Syrian crisis is extremely harmful for Iran as it will isolate it more not only at government level but amongst the general populace of Sunni Middle East.

It's 'Convention', BLAH, BLAH, BLAH...

By the way that convinction is not about war time and we are at economical war with some countries .

'Economical war' ? Not quit the same as real war.

You didn't read it, did you ? Territorial waters only extend out 12 nm. The Strait at its narrowest is 34 nm.

I feel bad that $tupid leadership in Iran is taking their people to an un-winnable conflict.
Who will suffer? ayatullahs? heck no. they will be sitting in deep bunkers of Qum.
The real sufferers will be the Iranian people. They will die and lose their property. Mullahs will be safe.
Oh and the so called leaders like Ahmdenejat will be hiding in sewer pipes no too different from Qaddafi and Saddam.,
It is time to back down and ratchet down the rhetoric. Sometimes leaders have to make decisions in favor of long term survival of their people. And these decisions may be un-popular.
Man! what U think just the Iranians gonna suffer, thats ure mistake then.....almost half of the world is gonna suffer and we would be worst cuz we are their next neighbors......:smokin:

genius you havn't ever looked at the persian gulf map , have you ? We have several island in the western part of strait of hormoz that practically made more than 2/3 of it in our territorial waters znd the other 1/3 is to shallow for big ships

And as i said we didn't recognize that convention just like USA

and Iran has the right not to let enemies ship sailing in hormuz.dont we?

But what if its in the other countries waters will you attack them?

In the end of the day Iran will know its futile cause other countries have pipelines that can still ship oil if Iran wants to close the Hormuz. Unless Iran wants to destroy those pipelines and leading to a war with Gulf nations which will give them an opportunity attack Iran.

no big ship can pass strait of hormoz without entering Iran territorial water ,the art which belong to UAE and oman in west of the strait is shallower than 10-15m

Yes they have pipe.ines but KSA onky can ship around 10% of its oil through the pipes and i expense of not being able to use it for gas and UAE can ship around 25% of its oil. Qatar have no such options and Iraq also can use pipelines for small part of its export

10% is better than nothing and depending on the situation it may even speed up the need for more pipelines. In reality its just pushing the Gulf nations to look for alternatives.

Its not like US and co will allow Iran to export oil during war time, and Iran naturally wont allow anyone from US proxies to export either. Its not like pipelines need much - couple of guys, some explosives.

sadly pipelines are not effective against beduin insurgency.
Look at turkey or egypt , in egyt only god knows whom and in turkey pkk every time feel like it they blow up the line
