Iran's Aseman Airlines passenger plane carrying 66 people crashes in Iran, none survived

Aircrafts dont crash because turbulence. I work in the airline business.

The ATR is as save as the A320. That said any car or bus is a million times more dangerous than any aircraft.
But atleast in a vehicle... im in control.. or my driver... while i sleep in the backseat... no fks given.

Yup, thats why Iran Air currently gets dozens of brand new A321

P.S; I did flying... yet i dont trust airlines... pilots are over worked..

And crew can make an error...

Human error is always a possiblity...

Couple of years back... a private airline pilot crashed their jet on a mountain... im pretty fukin sure.. alarms were blaring about an uncoming obstacle — a fukin mountain..

Fear of flying afflicts a significant % of the population - including airline crew itself. There is something about being in a metal box going at over 500 km/hr in a machine I have no control over - that is disconcerting. I am fine with flying to international destinations from Bombay and even major cities. It is the smaller airports and their antiquated systems and possibly under trained staff that scares me.

Makes no sense what you say.
Ive had 3 major car crashes..

Every fukin time.. I walked on my own two legs... broke a couple of bones, got an eye surgery... but i walked off — after a car wreck/rolls at 140km/hrs on a busy fukin road...

Nobody walks away after a crash.. all thats left is charred bodies (if lucky) or charred body parts.. scattered at the crash site.

Ive seen them bodies man... And I knew couple of them souls..
One was my Father’s boss... a junior adjutant...and a friends father (who was a judge)... other victims included Med professors,Neuro scientists, lawyers .. the cream of society... all gone .. only after 5 mins of take off.

Depends on the continent.

In EU, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea ect, all airports have the same level.

Yeah? Tell that to the malaysians, ukrainians and the 66 souls lost today..

Or the dozens of people who went down in abbotabad...

I even joined some course online to get over my fear. It helps reading about it. Most accidents apparently happen while landing / descent.
I know..

I dont like stress too much after i sit in a plane (coz i know im not in control at that point lol).

But yeah... im stressed at take off ... and landing... specially landing... amd that too if im flyin a Pakistani airline.. I dont trust those cocksukers.

It was an ATR-72 :/

Thats an italian aircraft. They are very reliable.

Most crashs with the ATR happen because bad maintenance or unexperienced staff. Its a turboprop and most pilots are not very experienced with that type of craft. And she is unforgiving when you do things wrong.
Rip, but are they crazy? to use India aircraft?

IT jobs at Airbus require security clearance for EU nationals (Dutch) as well?

Sad tragedy, RIP to them
