Iran's Aseman Airlines passenger plane carrying 66 people crashes in Iran,none survived

Cant really fix that when they aren't allowed to buy spare parts, its a miracle they lasted this long


Iran can buy spare parts, we even sell them new aircrafts now. Since they made the nuclear deal. There is no excuse left for Aseman Airlines.

That said it should also be noted that most crashs in Iran happen with russian aircrafts, where they could get spare parts.

you can only fix something for so long before it becomes useless and you have to replace the whole plane

not dozens, i think i read somewhere they have only received like around 6 so far out of the like the hundred new planes they ordered. So it will take along time for things to get replaced

Lol they ordered dozens that's it??? Our Low-cost carrier IndiGo ordered 570 of them. iran has a very underdevleoped airline market.

afaik 1 A321 was delievered already.

Keep in mind Airbus and also ATR are on their production limits. Normally it takes years until you get your roder delivered. Because political reason for good will of the EU, Iran Air already got one A321, two A330 and 8 ATR

Its not just to deliver. Iran has old aircrafts and their pilots and mechanics ect must be trained on the new models. Its like tehy must start completly new.

Also keep in mind Iran is dirt poor. Their fleet renovation costs much money.

When we allowed them to buy our aircrafts they had delusions to also buy A380...they silently took this to the grave when they heared the price tag.

That would even be enough to meet one of India's corridor's demand. Delhi-Bombay has 130 daily flights. Is iran's airline market really that small?

Their airline market is small.

1. they have almost no tourism. It ranges as Nr. 2 propably right after North Korea. Its increasing slowly since their regime started to be more humble towards EU.

2. their population is mostly poor and most cant afford to fly. So they have a very low internal market as well.

Last year i flew 24 times for work.
I also have to fly frequently for work.... which i hate... Had a really bad experience last time... alot of turbulence near karachi... man.. I drove to lahore after that...

And my tickets are free...

Turbulence are absolute harmless.

I did fly to Peru last year via Madrird and in Peru had several inland flights. All was awesome and i actually love when the tour gets rough.

Not if youve ever been to a crash site and seen bodies...

Ive seen the aftermath of a Fokker crash back in 2000s... after that i try not to fly.. unless nessecary..

And when i do.. i make sure not to board an ATR or a similiar aircraft..

Atleast A-320 or nothing.

Aircrafts dont crash because turbulence. I work in the airline business.

The ATR is as save as the A320. That said any car or bus is a million times more dangerous than any aircraft.
