I think that for the Karrar, 2 sets of fixed cameras should just be enough for it to be able to perform its mission, regardless of what its carrying. But of course it would need external lasing if its using laser guided bombs.

The reason I said that the Karrar should do just fine is that its 2 main weapon delivery methods should be CCIP and CCRP.
In CCIP, the Karrar is performing dive bombing, but the impact point is calculated by a computer instead of it being done manually by the operator, and this method is usually the most basic method of delivery of unguided bombs that a modern system would have. It just requires 1 frontal facing camera, with a HUD overlay on the camera, for the operator of the drone to be able to use for the attack runs.
CCRP is another method which allows the drone to drop the bomb on a previously saved point while flying in a straight line. This method can use a 2nd camera, placed inside the fuselage in an angled position facing downwards, in a way that allows the operator to see ahead of the drone on the ground. Then the operator should be able to save the location of the targets inside the flight computer after finding them using the camera, and perform automated level flight bombing runs on the point chosen.
These 2 methods work with almost every type of bomb, but in the case of laser guided ones, another drone is needed to lase the target. And a laser spotter isnt really needed on the drone if a data link system is established between the drones, as the Karrar drone will know where the target is and it will just drop the laser guided bomb in that direction.
In the case bombs with TV or IR sensors are equipped, the operator should be able to use the sensors on them to find the target.
And in the case of GPS guided bombs, it should just follow a pre planned flight and drop the bombs at the right time, then return.

Karrar doesn’t use extendable FLIR because Karrar design was built back in 2005 and it’s design influence comes from a well known US target drone.

“dude” that Karrar version is super old . The one above is the latest version for interceptor role.

The one you call Hunter is merely a Jerry rigged version that is not nearly as suitable for any true air to air role.

And why would it be an air to air version preclude it from having a FLIR? Makes zero sense. Like I said show me a Karrar with a extendable flir. The drone has been in production for 15 years surely there is a picture of it out there.

The truth is the Karrar uses a camera that is embedded inside it underneath in the area shown in the video.

well the record achieved when it was empty at maximum load the endurance is about 12 hours and in intelligence gathering mode more than 24 hours

Iran the major drone producer in the region

Commander of the Air Defense Forces in Northwestern Iran Brigadier General Abbas Azimi said his country has turned into the region’s major manufacturer of drones.

“The Army’s Air Defense Force has turned into a drone manufacturing pole in the region and Iran is able to export them now,” General Azimi told reporters on Sunday.

He added that the Air Defense Force has designed and built different ground-based and air-based electronic tapping systems and enjoys the highest level of superiority over the enemies.
