Does anyone know what happened to the Sofreh Mahi UCAV? Still in development

the Sofreh Mahi project is gone dark no news for years, we do not know if its canceled or not.

Imagine what will happen with oil facilities across Saudi Arabia in the event of war with Iran....My opinion is that starting with attack on oil tankers in the Persian Gulf earlier--this attack is an Iranian response to oil embargo---possibly not the last response....Shia populated regions of Saudi Arabia can potentially be destabilized

Please prevent proof to your claims. Nothing is able to be seen from these videos.

"In addition, another video allegedly from Kuwait includes the noise of a “drone” passing overhead, although the sound resembles a jet engine rather than a UAV."

The proximity to Bahrain, some 50 km. from the areas hit, leads to serious questions about how drones penetrated deep into Saudi airspace and hit the strategic facilities at Abqaiq and Khurais. The US Fifth Fleet is based in Bahrain, and the US has air bases and other facilities along the Gulf from Kuwait to the UAE protected by US air defense. They also have radar that can detect threats more than 150 km. away which should be able to detect drones.

“The drone was large at about three meters in length and the size of a small car,” al-Rai quoted a source as saying.

The newspaper said and the drone hovered over Dar Salwa presidential palace for a period, ignited its headlights for one minute and then entered Kuwait City airspace.

These claims allege that the Houthi drones were likely launched from Iran due to the direction they were flying before they attacked the Saudi Aramco site.

Eyewitness reports are not proof.

Furthermore, the best way to penetrate Saudi airspace is from Yemen side or Northern area NOT from the direction of Iran and PG because ALL of Saudi air defenses are facing that direction as they expect attacks from that direction.

Lastly Iran would not risk sending a 191 into Arab airspace. That is a hot piece of technology.

You forget drones are notoriously hard to detect. Do you forget the drone that entered Iranian airspace from Azerbaijan and made it all the way to natanz before it was shot down?

Small drones with small RCS can avoid detection especially if they fly in areas and ways to make them harder to be able to be detected.

Both HZ and Iran have sent drones into Israeli airspace and avoided detection for decent amount of time. Which is impressive given the small size of Israel and the saturation of military radars.
