What's new

Iranian Space program

Why does everyone (not Iranians) care so much about this?
I'm not sure what secret they're talking about.....we all know they have very precise spy satellite.
Trump may have revealed US military secrets by tweeting a photo to taunt Iran

Yes accurate up to 9cm resolution. This is just typical clickbait MSM propaganda, they're framing it as if the US has this new capability no one else knows about and Iran and all of America's adversaries should be worried.

So why you are angry !?

The failure is part of success , at least in our failure we didn't lose any person ...

If we want to become great , we should pay for it ...
Sabotage, I smell treason.

Yes and the insistent Was the fuelling process
...... then little fire brack out and was contained

The people responsible have been arrested.

When ever there is failure 99% times it ends up in huge explosion
Which clearly not case,
And everybody can also clearly see the rocket motor is not even been tried to turn on ,
The most clear thing is that pad stand is still on Safir SLV and for launch off the stand lays down before starting process of firing.

No it is not because the success take off Safir SLV is high and only after the satellite launching was taking way from IRGC_AS and was given to Defence ministery and training new personnel took place back in 2010, 2011 which we had 2 SLV explosions rocket at takeoff.
the Safir vehicle is been petty relatable sice 2014 with successful take of even it would be the caase this time .
Orbiting satellites that's another matter which relaxed on second section and. But Safir takeoff is petty good.
Why arrested Yavar jan? Was it a sabotage?

Yes @arashkamangir , it's U.S PR. After the RQ-4 kill they did the same with cyber attack claims to safe face. Trump needs it to boost morale and lost credibility.
However if can still be sabotage on the ground and they were just somewhat happy to have a sat over the area to take a photo.
Trump wants to imply use of space based laser weapons or a stealth UAV.
So this tweet is primarily for the home front to boost morale, whether sabotage or not.
If things are not cleared on Iranian side, he at least hopes for a delay on Iranian missile testing, trying to figure out how "new U.S space weapons or super stealth drones managed to kick this off".

In total: there is always a risk if you allow talented but non-indoctrinated people to do critical tasks. This likely had not happened with less educated, less talented IRGC personal who can be fully trusted. This is a inherent problem of all issues however.

I hope this incident provoke Iranian GHEIRAT, and show more interest and willingness for space program.

Now I have no doubt that American and their spies are behind the failure.

We will be stronger. Maybe a stupid question, but is it possible to build a closed launch sites with special roof that would go open before the launch. This way risk of outside influences (drones, laser) could be decreased maybe?

problem is that these traitors in hope of satisfying their masters, have forbidden space rocket tests, so instead of a quick finalize of the rockets, they wait few years for each test, and they mount an actual satellite on it, with this pathetic speed, it would take decades to achieve a real SLV, while we are loosing another extra decades cause we have have sacrificed our satellite R&D in SLV tests.

Loose in loose.

Something like the USA minuteman launch?

The problem with satellite launch being underground ia that satellite launhcer is very big and wide, not a simple cylinder like a missile. Also, satellite SLV has to be assembled part by part and needs testing. Unless Iran manages to make good progress in technology and then make solid fuel rockets, it is difficult to have underground launching. However, it is possible to have roof over the SLV above ground. Though, I don't think sabotage is possible even otherwise.

If developing SLV was easy, everyone would have done that. Iran has tried to launch satellites 3 times within a year and all have failed. By now, Iran has tried to launch satellites for more than 10 times. Considering that Iran has been trying to develop satellite and missiles technology for 20 years now, and Iran hasn't yet been able to launch even minor payload into stable orbits, the full fledged development will definitely take time beyond the year 2030. Obviously, even after SLV is Developed, developing satellite technology is hard and will take over 1 decade time.

This doesn't mean, however, that a traitor is sabotaging technology progress. Every country that developed missile & rocket technology had to do it on its own and none will help any other country develop it.

I'm talking about program/schedule sabotage by our Reformist government.
