well it is a copy thus a fake by design.

As far as flying it concerned, as you said it will in couple of months, and maybe you can get your answer then. What are the specs on engine btw?

Infact making same design was for political reason ...

But another one (which is bigger & different) is under development ...

About the engine ...

I think sentinel running on a Williams FJ-44 or FJ-33 engine ... Reverse engineering such stuff is not a big deal for Iran ...

I don't know, you tell me.
BTW, what about Shahed, Fotros, ... and all other mullah unveiled products? Their most advanced shown equipment in wars has been barrel bombs.

Really ?

What about those UAVs filmed by al-Qaeda gangs !?

I don't care about original or fake. One things Iranians do know how to do is to mock the Yankee!

They said we can't do ... We are going to prove that we can !

Hence why its called a mockup for a reason. Mocking themselves similar to to that Iranian stealth fighter of theirs.

Later officials confirmed the unveiled qaher was a mockup ...

But the unveiled drone is 100% real as I saw inside the airframe & ...

& the real qaher is a different stuff ...

Reverse-engineering isn't exactly as easy as some people make it sound.

No it wasn't ...

Iran capture a drone and 6 months later they announce that they had made an exact copy of it, get real

Iran captured RQ-170 in 2011 ... Reverse engineering ended in 2013 ... 2 years not 6 month ...

If you mean scaneagle ... Hiiim !

Are you comparing these two systems !?

Real ! but only the stealth is for real

Only one of the sensors still in reverse engineering process ...

Sentinel without sensors is a toothless stuff ...

PS :

This is Iranian made landing gear for sentinel ( front landing gear ) :

You cannot build something that works as the original if you do not have the technology or base knowledge to build, just because you have one to take apart.

Thats true. I give you an example. In 1999 one of our ESA Ariane V rockets failed and crashed into the rain forest and native indians collected the parts. So far the Hualpi natives there did not start their own Low Earth Orbit Program.

How do you know we don't have technology or base knowledge !?

I take it as an insult ...

Its not an insult. Its a simple fact. Evry day countless modern Airbus machines land in Tehran. Since decades. Your technicians have acess to their maintenance and yet Iran could never build a large civil airliner alone.

It wasn't meant to be insulting. The US currently has a vast technology lead, and that is a cutting-edge drone. Nobody in the world can currently match them, let alone the Sentinel.

Would it be insulting to say you could not copy a B-2 were you to have one land in Iran? Of course it isn't.

Knowledge is not intelligence, nor is experience. If I claimed a lack of intelligence, that would be insulting. But I have no doubts of Persian intelligence.

Sorry but your comparison is a real shit !

First ... Your mentioned ariane rocket crashed into pieces ... But RQ-170 :

Second ... Chinese still can't produce a decent airliner ... So !?

It is simple ... Airliner needs a big mount of money ...

Indeed ... We can't make something like B-2 ... It's a big waste of money !

But RQ-170 was not a big problem ... Aircraft done in 2 years ... Some sensors need more time ...

Well I guess it wont be long until we see one operational then.

Soheil...this is a plastic model. It has even a bad paint job. The intake grid is part of the hull and cant be removed...it looks like they molded a plastic model. I'm sure Iran has great engineers...but this thing is at best an RC plane. And even then in bad quality.

. .
It's passing taxi tests ...

First flight is soon ...

Well you can understand the skepticism until it is proven operational and functional. Iran has a fairly long history of using photoshop in military-related press releases.

Your point about painting has a reason ... Stealth aircrafts have an advanced coating on their bodies ... This coating still missing on the first prototype ...

This is a temporary paint for flight test ... Why should we add an expensive coating on a test model ???

And I am not agree about the intake grid with you ... Because about a week before unveiling my friend in ****** university showed me the drone pictures without intake grid & the engine was visible ...

So dropping a bomb on the head of Americans is the only way to prove !!!
