Actually UN Should step in such cases. Medical supplies and food supplies should be allowed to Iran.

Medical and food supplies is exempt, i.e. not sanctioned. The trouble is Iranian banks are sanctioned so Iran has no way of paying for these supplies. The problem is easily resolved by asking a bank in a friendly nation Russia, China or Pakistan to make the payment on behalf of Iran. Iran can transact via an intermediary - not sure why this is not being done.
