I agree with Abii. This is just propaganda that Iranian president is selling his car or he lives in a very small home. The fact is that the political and religious establishment of Iran is as corrupt as any other country. In fact mullahs have so much power which even isn't present in our society. And their are numerous stories of Ayatullah's corruption and exploitation of their authority.

Well,common people doesn't look at this.The fact is that Iran is doing much better than Pakistan.General perception is that Iran is doing really well after the revolution (I don't know whether its true).They are the fastest-growing country in the world ,when it comes to science and technology.(Hope they continue for at least next 30 years or so)

The post revolution kids (70 percent of the population) are completely different than Iranians of the pre revolution era. Most are extremely secular (just as much as Turks) and some like me don't even want to call themselves muslims because they don't believe in the religion at all.

With the way things are going, many Iranians are becoming fanatically anti Islam.
