Accept to make a zone in the Gulf for the United States and its allies to make a naval hub for NATO to secure the Gulf and bring peace to the region.
Only one day after National Persian Gulf Day.

Learn some geography, ignorant inbred fool.

A call to piracy by the us....

What makes this rather worrying is that this isnt just your usual lone lunatic ultra-right boltonite or pro zionist senator foaming at the mouth, but instead is actually a bipartisan call.
Honestly tho`,one actually has to wonder if any of these clowns have ever even bothered to actually look at a map of the persian gulf,as if they had they`d see that it is far far easier for iran to play captain jack sparrow high seas pirate, than it is for the west.Indeed iran doesnt even need to leave its own back yard to retaliate against seizures of its ships and cargoes,as one third of the worlds sea traded hydrocarbons have to travel through the iranian controlled strait of hormuz.

It's worth noting that the article states only 12 US senators (out of 100) signed that letter. Interestingly, they say no seizures took place for over a year.

If they seize an Iranian ship in the waters of another country, Iran will hold that country responsible and seize ships of that country in the Persian Gulf - Gulf of Oman (e.g. Greece).

If they seize it in international waters it is more problematic but Iran must seize US owned ships in response. So either way the US doesn't have great options.

Recently I have seen this video. It is the second SES minesweeper for IRIN?, or it is just the first one that received IRIN when received Dena frigate?. I see a second minesweeper in Bandar Abbas, for more than a year it is moored and not finished still. Maybe it is the second one.

The commenter says there will be four additional vessels of the type, which are in the final stages of completion.
