Khalij Fars training ship (of Loghman project) is 200m long and weights 3000 tonne. after this project, the Negin project will be a destroyer with 5000t to 7000t weight.

Another one would be towed array sonars,especially if the boats going to be operating outside the persian gulf.This is something that the blue water surface boats badly need as well and would be considered mandatory on a 7000 ton multirole destroyer.
The navy really does need to hurry up and get its act together as it has a literal sh!tload of modern systems that it needs to either develop,or like the new 30mm ciws that has been developed,but still needs to be produced and retrofitted to all the older boats as quickly as possible.

hi, no look Negin is not the name of one destroyer Negin is a family so Khalij Fars destroyer is one of the destroyer from Negin family so they maybe build 8 destroyers all of them with different names but they all will be categorized to be from Negin family

they said Demavand will soon join the navy but Dena will join the navy in less than 2 month from now

I would wager that this is actually a long range stealth type cruise missile, similar to a U.S. AGM-158C LRASM.

i still do not know if Khalij Fars is from Negin class family but we do know Negin class are from 5000-7000 tons


yes Dena is being constructed in navy shipyards close to Persian Gulf and it will have VLS too in 3 more month Damavand-2 will join Caspian Sea fleet and next year Taftan destroyer will join Persian Gulf fleet
