Where do u get your numbers ????
Iran at best would build less than 10 Fateh class sub and 3 or 4 Besa't class submarine in next 20 yrs. we do not have any will to build subs more than 1500 ton in near future.
your plan can bankrupt Iran navy.

I think at the moment we have enough ability to build at least on Fateh class sub per year.

The question is not how much Fatteh Iran can build rather how much Iran is willing to make! With a few investments in a few facilities and tools within a year Iran take the production of the Fatteh to greater than 10 per years if they really wanted and far more if they really invested a lot into it!
The reason I said 10 in the next 2 decades is not because Iran can't build any more but rather Iran wouldn't really want too due to the fateh's limited range of 7000km, endurance, limited depth capability and firepower.

And my timeline is for the next 20 years! and the fact is we can't know what kind of technologies we will build by then! 20 years is a long time so for all I know and for all you know Iran might be able to print 3000 tone subs by then or build unmanned version of a 1,500 ton sub that would have the range, depth capability & firepower equivalent to a 10,000 ton sub today!
And I said at best 1 or 2 3000 tone subs in the next 20 years because for all we know 1,500 tone sub may prove inefficient when it comes to depth or too small for an armed nuclear powered sub but for now the only sub's Iran is officially planning in the next decade is the fateh and 1200-1500 tone sub

Even the depth capability of a Kilo is inefficient and outdated today so yea in 20 years Iran will likely go for something better... If you were to go to 1990 no one could have predicted that within 20 years Iran was going to build SLV's and Send Sat's into space, Build it's own Sub's & torpedo's, Warships, Hovercrafts, Jet powered UCAV's, Armed MALE UAV's, PGM, Helicopters, Fighter jet, IRBM & have the tech to build ICBM's upon demand, LACM,.... all in the span of 25 years or so while under sanctions.

Iran navy was humiliated by russian navy or what is he saying?

Ah ok, i google translated it

"Admiral Sariyev, in the final section of his speech, referred to an effective statement by Ayatollah Khamenei, which led to the construction of a ship by internal investigators, noted:

In 1998, one of our northern countries requested military exercises in the Caspian Sea. At that time, we did not have any carriers in the Caspian Sea, and perhaps they were asking us to humiliate us with this knowledge.

He remarked that this was an incident to the Supreme Leader, and he said that in order to get out of this humiliation, bring a few ships through the Black Sea to the Caspian.

When we proceeded to do this, the country invited the one of the channels that was in control, and did not allow us to enter, which again wanted to humiliate us. We've heard the news again.

He said to us something important, and that is to say that you are not zealous, you have the will, so go and build this vessel yourself in the Caspian Sea in order to come out of contempt in the next exercise.

The same sentence became the foundation of the fundamental transformation, and in 2003, the first Iranian navy was built by internal researchers at the University of Nowshahr. This work was repeated as a 3-year-old, and in the years of 85, 88, 91, and 95, subsequent ships were built"

In fact If you had a time machine and you could go back in time to 1995 and spoken to the top Iranian engineers working on Iran's Ballistic Missiles and told them that within 20 year you guy guys will be sending Sat's into space and you'll have the capability to build ICBM's and you'll have precision guided BM with a CEP of 10 meters and you'll be building Stealth long range UCAV's.... EVEYONE except for khoda beyamorz Shahid Tehrani Mogadam would have likely laughed in your face and called you delusional! They would have told you that they've been working on building a single short ranged Ballistic Missile for a decade now and they still can't get that right! And that you have no clue what your talking about!
So 20 years is a long time!

Not if they are equipped with long range SLCM. If it can safely engage a battle group from 200-300 KM, even if the battle group pinpoints its exact location of fire. By the time another submarine or a sub hunter aircraft arrives the sub will be long gone.

The ghadirs and some fatehs would keep the PG clear for submarines like Fateh, Besat, and Russian kilos to return to refuel and resupply. Besat and Russian kilos main job will be to keep Indian Ocean clear so battle groups have to launch air strikes from further away.

It would be a two stage area denial tactic.

One thing you must realize is, the US Navy doesn’t have experience hunting small diesel submarines. They are trained to hunt Russian and chinese behemoth nuclear submarines.
Well not exactly , a cruiser for example can withstand several missile and no the sub can't escape that easily . the battlegroup will send some sub hunting helicopter that will be in the vicinity of launch in one hour and in that one hour the sub only can go away about 20 -30 km away and that's not enough to hide if they really want to find you.
The most potent weapon a sub carry is its torpedo not its missiles .those missiles are best kept for ground attacks .

Use your brain Vevak!

Iran needs submarines to defend the PG and Indian Ocean that’s it! Don’t compare Iran to global powers that need to project second strike capability all over the world!

Iran doesn’t have nuclear weapons thus doesn’t need a Ocean traveling behemoth.

If Iran truly engages in asymmetric warfare, then Iran needs small quiet diesel submarines to harass and push carrier groups far away from both the PG and Indian Ocean. Both Fateh and besat fit that role nicely. You can’t compare Iran’s submarine tactics to a country like China/Russia. Even Israel doesn’t have massive subs. Dolphin-2 class submarines are 2000 tons.

By pushing carrier groups out into The Pacidic That will then make them nearly useless in carrying out sorties on Iranian souls. It will force the US to rely on CMs and air bases on land in the Middle East in order to conduct strikes on Iran (which BMs will surely target in any war)

Iran is making a big mistake by only relying on BMs and land based CMs to prevent area denial.

If the sub attacks from the Indian Ocean towards a carrier group hanging near Diego Garcia.

It would then scoot towards the PG to come within the air defense envelop of Iranian S-300 and Bavar-373. If Iran places a S-300 Bavar-373 system in southern Iran it will encompasses the entire PG and then some.

That helicopter will be taking a big risk hanging in the area trying to locate a small diesel sub BY ITSELF.

Furthermore, while a cruiser may survive multiple hits, it will be out of commission for battle. Just take a look at what happen to a US cruiser hitting a container ship. The damage it did to it and then compare it to a supersonic cruise missile carrying a delayed charge warhead aiming above the waterline.

WW2 battleships were made to take a beating from cannons and air strikes. However, modern day warships must rely on RCS, EW, anti missile defense to survive. They arent built as strong.

An old Chinese cruise missile severely damaged an Israeli warship in 06 war. And that cruise missile actually missed the waterline the ship! It locked onto the crane near helicopter deck of the warship and exploded above the deck!

Like I said this stratergy requires coordination of air defense and PG sub defenseand Indian Ocean sub defense. But combined these three will make a formidable wall against any enemy.

Yes Iran is making a mistake of NOT spending at least $25-$30 Billion USD on yearly Weapons Production. And that is Iran's biggest mistake especially in a country that has a fairly capable Defense Sector and proper investment will bring about more job's and help with the growth of Technology and more capable Civilian and Military products.

But when it comes to subs please stop acting like you know things when you don't even know the most basic thing!
The Fateh Sub simply DOES NOT have the Depth capability nor the sensor capability to protect it's self against other U.S. subs that will come from under them and easily achieve a greater than 5:1 kill ratio so if we build 50 Fatteh class subs and deploy them in deep waters they'll simply deploy 10 subs on top of a carrier group to wipe them out!!!

At best the highlighted area below is where the fateh sub can hide and lay in wait between some rocks and use clever tactics to combat a US fleet and US subs
upload_2018-9-28_17-36-51.png

For the Fateh Sub anything outside the highlighted area and you'll be nothing but a sitting duck for any country that is equipped with modern sub's and carrier's! Plus the U.S. has a vast network of underwater equipment and sensors that will confuse the hell out of your subs!

And that's why Iran will NOT need any more than 10 Fateh class subs and simply put unless Iran is the one starting the war the Fateh class do NOT have the depth capability nor the sensor capability to be of much use for military purposes against military vessels escorted by modern Sub's outside the highlighted sections and simply put the deeper you can go the safer you will be and that has NOTHING TO DO with having the capability to cross the world!

As for Nuclear Sub Iran is working on Nuclear Propulsion and the designs have already been admitted to the IAEA so I'd say it would be a bit retarded to build nuclear propulsion but stop yourself from building nuclear subs and you'll need a Sub that's at least 3000 tons or more for it to be worth while!

SO CLEARLY YOUR THE ONE THAT NEEDs to USE his BRAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, You are right but there is big IF here and that is amount of resources to invest on under sea fleet.
we spend huge amount of money on the missiles technologies; sometimes we forget this important point and developing submarine technologies are more expensive and high tech than missiles.
This is Nahang Submarine
Iran_midget_submarine_nahang_rear1.jpg

we build it domestically but it lost competition to north Korean submarine. hopefully we had not any competition for Fateh class sub, so they forced to solve some inherent problems of domestic sub technologies and we get fruit of that in Besa't class submarine in future.

Fateh is continuous of this domestic path of the development.
it takes around 10 yrs for us to reach from Nahang to Fateh when our budgets mostly meet. we can do any thing in next 20 yrs but all depends on amount of our budgets.
also, we need to train many technicians and submariners to use and keep these subs in service.
so my Assumption about building one Fateh class sub per yrs in next 10 yrs is fair enough.

one of our priorities should be invest on drone subs in the next 20 yrs and launch them from bigger submarines.

this drone subs most have ability to launch from bigger submarines and carry one torpedo.
this drones can go deeper in the water and fire their torpedo and come back to mother sub.
