Like I said previously, Americans have "given" (not by choice) Iran more advanced technologies than they sell to their "allies".
Yes,the americans have been very "generous" with their shall we say "involuntary technology donations" to iran....especially when it came to drone technology,hell...they even "donated" a global hawk recently and thats about the most expensive and complex drone in their arsenal. Why I wouldnt be surprised if it turned out that iran nearly had a whole complete set of us drones in its possession.:sarcastic:

I recall once Maj Gen Hajizadeh said Americans are paying a price everyday by just having their bases close to us. Because we are watching and learning everyday.

It’s nothing short of a goldmine. Think to verify your radar tech instantaneously on high tech targets such as f22 etc such asset for the engineering teams! There is literally no where else on the planet you could have learned as much.

F-22 flies with radar deflectors during peace time that raises its RCS to easily detectable levels.

Obviously they do that to protect F-22 military trade secrets and two it’s also to protect airspace from accidents where civilian pilots and other aircraft don’t accidentally get too close to F-22 unknowingly.

It’s always possible US has tried probing Iranian radar defenses with F-22 for intelligence gathering purposes.

Didn't USA boasted about one of their f-22 sneak on one of our f-4 . are you saying they did with the deflectors engaged ?

Not sure what type of counter measures that F-22 was taking. Or if the F-4 radar/pilot was actively searching for other aircraft.

That incident took place in 2013 and who knows the truth as the American side is the only side to speak about it. It’s possible F-4 detected him with deflectors on. All we have is words of an American General that was engaging in patriotism and propaganda.

What I do know is When US entered Syria conflict they had radar deflectors on to avoid Russians S-400 spying on them and to avoid air to air accidents.

US isn’t the only country to do this. China and Russia have done this to their 5th gen fighters to prevent rival countries from learning how to detect them.

Iran Navy successfully test-fires new-generation cruise missiles during drills

Iran’s naval forces have successfully tested new-generation cruise missiles — designed and developed by experts at home — during military drills in the Sea of Oman and the northern Indian Ocean.

During the maneuvers on Thursday, the long-range and short-range missiles were successfully fired from the coast and from decks of ships, hitting the designated targets with high accuracy.

The coast-to-sea and sea-to-sea missiles were produced by experts at Iran’s Ministry of Defense in cooperation with the Navy, according to the report.

At the end of the maneuvers, Deputy Chief of Army for Coordination Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari described the successful launch of new cruise missiles as a promising step toward further upliftment of the country’s defense and deterrence power.

He added that Iran will continue to march toward self-sufficiency and becoming needless of foreign military equipment despite brutal sanctions imposed on the country, adding that “successful test-firing of long-range missiles is a sign of remarkable progress in boosting synergy between the armed forces and defense industries.”

Iranian Navy Commander Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi also noted that production of new home-grown missiles by the Iranian experts will better equip the Islamic Republic to handle any threat against the Islamic establishment and the Iranian people while strengthening a sense of self-reliance in the Iranian Armed Forces.

Iran’s Navy Commander: Supersonic Missiles Production atop Agenda

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Navy Commander Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi said that Iran will soon develop the third generation of supersonic missiles, adding that new turbofan engines will be used to accelerate the speed of the supersonic missiles in near future.
There will be changes in the engines of the Navy’s missiles that will enable them to tolerate higher temperature for longer time
, Khanzadi said.

He added that the fueling and navigation systems of the Navy will also undergo changes.

Rear Admiral Khanzadi noted, “Today we have reached the range of 300 kilometers and we will achieve a bedazzling range in near future.”

He said that the Navy is also pursuing production of the generation of Talaeey-e missiles, adding, “The missiles that have been used as cruise today, are of the infrasonic generation and they will fly with supersonic speed soon.”

In sum, we are trying to make the missiles capable of vertical flight as this will enable us to station more missiles on the deck of the ships to shoot at a variety of targets, Khanzadi further said.

In June, the Admiral had stressed his forces' full determination and preparedness to defend the country against enemies' threats.

Iranian Navy forces are standing firmly against all enemies' plots and are afraid of no threat, Rear Admiral Khanzadi said on June 10.

Iranian soldiers have always stood for establishing security and keeping the global arrogance away from Iranian borders, especially in the sea.
