Have faith in the Iranian naval engineers...The first Damavand sank because of human error on the part of the captain (wonder what happened to him!! may be a desk job )and bad luck of engine quitting at the wrong time. Going to Multiple engines as they have done in the current Damavand 2.0 (not sure if two or 4 engines) should provide more reliable operation. Sinking of the ship was inevitable just as it happened few months ago to the Norwegian! frigate.I just hope they take measures to ensure this radar mast (if it's really being installed) doesn't make the ship too top heavy and follow the same fate as the first Damavand.
