TEHRAN (ISNA)- A 500-MW power plant built in the Holy City of Najaf, southern Baghdad, by an Iranian company would be inaugurated on Thursday.

"The power plant is capable of generating 500 MW of electricity," said Iranian Deputy Minister of Economy for Planning and Economy Alireza Daemi.
