Iranian Ground Forces | News and Equipment

I know Meebah works with trucks. This system is mainly made to launch a little burst per blow and not continuously. He has 8 guns then you weigh on the peak for a second and at least 24 balls are out. Yes it is a last chance system but it is important. The recharge is quick for this system and there must be several spare boxes. I am sure that Iran has built a lot of Mesbah system. It is impotating because it supports the entire integrated network of the various defense system

make it more resilient when faced against a swarm attack

and law can not change the range of drones and we are talking about deserts , and open fields , wonder how much interference is there .
When facing quadcopter swarms you will most definitely not be using SAMs like Majid. You'd be using jammers and gun based C-RAM systems. The latter of which is already used by FARAJA border guard

If quadcopters were really a threat then every airport or point of interest around the world could be threatened by any individual with some dollars in his pocket.

They are great for urban warfare scouting and minor harassment attacks. They are very easily jammable when proper precautions are taken. The ones Israel uses on Iran I suspect are military grade quadcopters and likely very small (but powerful) so they show up on ground based radar as a small bird (or nothing at all)

RCL serves a very important role. Not the best at anti tank, but amazing at everything else, especially fire support and rounds are dirt cheap
they had the bad habit of exploding in the face of the operator (It seems after same time of use the barrel tends to produce some hairline fracture at the base). in USA and Canada , they used some shield for it even when they wanted to use it in low intensity scenario like fighting avalanches . and even they gave it up and used howitzer for that . and for war they put tow on the vehicle
as you can see we think its not necessary to use any shield to protect soldier or made it fire remotely .

the gun is heavy a little so-so on precision side , there is no protection against enemy fire . and the rounds are heavy and the gun is a lot heavier.
the only advantage to Toofan is its a little cheaper

The standard issue load out for FARAJA border guards. Usually KLF/KLT/KLS rifle, a ballistic helmet or sometimes beret/hat, and usual Milicam plate carrier (sometimes load bearing vest, but that's becoming increasingly rarer). KL-133 and AK-133 are slowly replacing older rifles, and inshallah they get RU03 red dot (IRGC standard red dot) in significant numbers too. Lack of radio is probably biggest problem

Two border guards were just killed in their Toyota pick up.

Meanwhile Iraqi PMU’s drive around in Iranian MRAPs. Iran still treats most of its soldiers like cannon fodder. Leftover of the human wave mentality of Iran-Iraq war.
