well what for , AT-4 is only good for transports and reussia replace RPG-18 with RPG-26 and that also is good for the same role , why for the same role build so many different system not just one

Combining a grenade launcher, 30 mm cannon and small machine gun in the turret, that's great! more attack options and it's good for city war. But there is one weapon that is lacking, this turret should also be able to launch ATGM like the one in the Puma IFV.

if you want it to do that , my guess is that you must redesign the vehicle and add the capabilities of launching some anti tank missile vertically and then guide them toward enemy tank like spike ATGM from above. on the side note then its better to use a tank chassis for that vehicle and incorporate it in your armored column and gave it the duty of defending the column from enemy tanks and helicopters


by the way Puma have thrice the weight of this vehicle , thats just a tank that fire spike instead of cannon

Stupid design. When the machine guns run out of ammo whose going to get out and change them in heat of battle?

Better to build a true integrated turret with Ammo loader that goes into the amoured body allowing crew to change the ammo from inside.

Not to mention the ammo on those machine guns wouldn’t even last that long before needing to be reloaded. Especially the left turret.

You don't have to redesign the vehicle for it to launch an ATGM. All you need to do with this Iranian turret in order to launch an ATGM is to simply place the ATGM on either side of the turret (just like the one on the T 15 or boomerang). If this Iranian turret could be even bigger, it would be able to put the ATGM inside the turret in an open and close way like the Puma. Yes I agree if this turret is placed in a Tank vehicle the same as the T 15, but even then it's not a big problem, Iran can provide protection on this bmp.

No realy, it's a pretty good design although there are drawbacks such as not having an ATGM (even this Iranian turret design has the advantage of using a grenade launcher when compared to the turrets on Puma or the T 15 which don't have one). The machine gun in this turret is only used for fire support, the main gun is still a 30 mm cannon, so ammunition loading in a layered body is not really needed. But even so I still agree with you, Iran should integrate it, if possible load ammunition in the turret body. The T15 put the machine gun in the turret just below the canon.

you must consider the limitation of the vehicle , its a 14 ton machine with 300hp engine, you can't expect it to be able to do the job of a 43 ton design with an 850hp engine

that's why I say what you want from it is only possible if they redesign it , adding two ATGM beside turret make problem with reloading it mut be fired in cells from inside the body or through cannon and both of them made problem

Another workshop design that won’t go anywhere. How many of these Frankenstein Do-It-Yourself projects do we need to see?
