It has passive Laser based (aerosol smoke Grenade) protection system.

Iran has been working on an active kinetic protection system. But it has yet to be shown on anything besides a Zolifgar-3 prototype in testing.

As i learned "hard kill" is essential when it comes to APS. I hope they develop one for Karrar.

Seems to be a project related to Defense Industries Organization , no public info on it but it is based on BTR class but clearly Iranian origin.

sorry but its a defense kids project...they could have come with better concept if they searched internet without making it look like btr.

the fabrication is way too poor so the painting and coating, even though its a prototype...

just look at the 6x6 MRAP design, its look like some serious dev by professionals, under defense ministry.

i have high hope for karrar...they should revamp mechanical design specially the auto-loader with new concept...
