Iranian-flagged oil tanker seized at Greece

Maybe Iran should add weapons on every Iranian Oil tanker / ship as the Makran-1

The right of innocent passage has been discussed and tried to be explained in detail in both the 1958 Geneva Sea Law Conventions and the 1982 UNCLOS. In both texts, all states, whether coastal or not, can enjoy the right of innocent passage to use the seas comfortably.

When a ship with a foreign flag, using its right of innocent passage, continues to be subject to the jurisdiction of its flag state. As long as it does not violate the conditions of innocent passage while passing through the territorial sea or inland waters of a state other than the flag state.

The coastal state cannot charge a fee from a ship that is in innocent passage. It cannot legally or de facto discriminate between the states of which the ship is a member or between the states where the cargo carried by the ship is loaded, unloaded or carried on its behalf.

The ship, which has a technical problem, may seek assistance by approaching the nearest coastal border as required by international maritime law. However, in line with this request, the technical problem of the ship should be resolved and the ship cannot be detained from international transportation.

An unlawful military intervention is taking place on the civil oiler tanker. The ship detained from international shipping. The ship is unlawfully moored to the port and an investigation is opened. Then the cargo carried by the ship is taken to another ship and stolen.

We don't see this banditry anymore, even off the coast of Somalia. Only off the coast of West Africa and in the territorial waters of Greece. Their lawlessness is now beyond its borders.

.
Good stuff. Keep the pressure up on the Mullah regime. Don't give them a second to breathe freely. Liquidate their top generals, seize their oil, make 'industrial accidents' happen.

Really, champ? When you harassed the Nautical Geo,right next to Crete, you were the example of a lawful nation?

Right here:

Ah,what about when the Turkish Navy escorted ships full of weapons and ammunition to Libya,in violation of the UN embargo? And the fact that you threatened NATO-ally countries like France and Germany, when they demanded to stop and search these cargo ships?

Let me remind you also, that your great leader Buyuk Sultan Erdogan is the one who has deemed it necessary for Turkey to educate and harness the Somalis. So any complaints about the Gulf of Aden's piracy problem by Somali pirates, should also be directed to you. What happened? I thought you had influence in Somalia. All that money spent.

It's NOT about Iran. If you've read my post,it's about this ship being involved with Russia and the EU sanctions on Russia.

.
You are so obsessed with Iran it's sad. You take word "addiction" to a new level.
He's definitely not alone, especially in the last few years we've had so many miserable members who have devoted their lives to an obsession.

The issue has nothing to do with Turkey. It has nothing to do with Erdogan. If that's all you can do, you're in a pathetic state.

Whataboutism or whataboutery (as in "what about…?") denotes in a pejorative sense a procedure in which a critical question or argument is not answered or discussed, but retorted with a critical counter-question which expresses a counter-accusation.

Most prolific state sponsor terrorist entity in the world. Everyone should be 'obsessed' with destroying the Mullah regime.

It's still an Iranian flagged tanker seized, which = good.

You're the pathetic guy who posted this thread, aren't you? You discreetly squeezed in this comment that the only piracy left in the world is by Somalis in the Gulf of Aden and Greece.

You cleverly ignored the fact that there's a suspicious history behind this ship, that had Americans order it seized again, because it violated a EU embargo on Russia. And you blamed Greece for "lawlessness".

Well,I'm sorry, but I will remind you your own cuckoldery.

Greek security personnel seized the ship. The goods carried by the ship were stolen by Greek officials and delivered to the USA.

As long as you can't write and condemn about these, you're going to keep bullshit.

Is it a European trait to deny theft even when caught red-handed?

Worry about Algeria border invasion of Morocco first.

I condemned them indirectly in my first post. However,I then read that the ship had initially violated the EU embargo.

The oil wasn't stolen by Greek officials,it was consficated. What the Americans did with it,that is their own problem.

It is funny, because when I am pro-Iranian,you mock me and others like @aryobarzan @Muhammed45 @Dariush the Great and other Iranians I forget, however now,you suddenly take a pro-Iranian stance and blame my country, concerning this incident.

Personally,I'm all for buying Iranian oil. My country had been buying Iranian oil for decades. The last few years, the buffoons in the government decided to stop doing that, even though the Americans didn't include us on the sanctions list for Iranian oil.

However,it seems that this ship had dealings with Russia and was subject to the embargo. The EU and NATO decided that.
Stop blaming us of "piracy",when you had been dealing in your own pirate acts, the last few years in the East Mediterranean ;)

Well, it just shows how much Iran has been antagonizing these zionists and the illegitimate apartheid regime they support. Much more to come.

Eu didn't do an embargo , they sanctioned . Those are different matters and Iran or any party outside eu don't have the obligation of following eu sanctions. So no it was piracy .
The fun fact . Even US destroyers can't stop us from diverting ships in Persian gulf and sea of oman
