What's new

Iranian consulate in Basra south Iraq is one fire now as thousands of protestors try storm it

.
Cutting of water flow to Iraq shows that Iran is not a friend.Iraqis must hunt down and eliminate the mullah goats.Khamenei is a devil worshipper.

. . . . .
Soo they will say iaraelian spies cut the water supply from iran :smitten:

. . .
2 hundred Iraqi villans are not represent of 37 M Iraqis.

I’ve been to Iraq, haven’t ever seen anything negative from Iraqis. Same as my friends and relatives. Such thing doesn’t exist at all.

During saddam time dozens thousands of Iraqis ran away to Iran to live in Iran.

Right now 1.5 millions Iraqis live in Iran and millions Iraqis and Shia Arabs visit religious cities of Qom and Mashhad. I as Tehranian have noticed half of the foreign visitors in Milad tower (world’s 3rd tallest tower when it was built) are Iraqis.

And during Muharram 2 millions Iranians go to Iraq and come back to Iran by free Iraqi taxis or on foot.

Iran & Iraq are tied before Islam, during Buyid empire, Seljuk empire, Safavid empire and Qajar empire.

you should not cut the water supply of peoples.

It's deeper than that, the protests are really serious and picking up momentum. The people are frustrated with all parties and religious clergy of Iraq apparently. So no doubt they're tired of corruption, but also parties/organizations monopoly on resources/wealth in Iraq. And other factors contributing to mismanagement. There should be a separate thread for these demonstrations in Iraq.

The discontent isn't new... It was already building up Before the rise of all the ISIS mess... But ISIS fight put on hold such thing till nowadays...
The threat is no more... Now it's time to go back where they left it...

I'm sure there has been persistent discontent in most Arab nations over the past several decades ....
