Don’t know what to make of these reports.
If true, then both Hamas/Factions in Gaza as well as Israel have made one giant cock-up of themselves.
Hamas made a miscalculation but put The Palestinian issue back on the world stage. And Israel overreacted, destroying their image and exposing their fascist racism in the process to the entire world.
What horrible times we live in…

Sources say a total of 4 journalists died and another Lebanese civilian was targeted as well in a separate incident.

Its not just the cost to israel politically,tho that will undoubtedly be very high,its also the destruction of the myth of israeli military superiority and competence.
I think that the cost to the west politically,as israels chief backer,not to mention its own bloodthirsty hypocrisy being clearly on display,is likely to be even higher and at a time when they really needed it less.
I think western political credibility has taken a literal body blow,the likes of which we havent seen since the days of the cold war.
I agree,but its also during those times when big political changes can happen,often very quickly and with little prior warning.
The unipolar world of the last 3 decades is in its death throes and the new multi-polar world is being born and birth is always painful.
