Iranian Chill Thread

All of these were supposed to be powerful initial strike ....
I can argue the initial strike was very weak on part of Russia. If it was US vs Iran the first target would be the Majles and Beit Rahbari. Russians avoided destroying the UKR government for someone reason in the first day of strikes, or attacking major power grids like the US did. I guess their mistake..

Also Saudi intervention in Yemen was supposed to be power initial strikes............7 years later, with over 200 US and Euro made combat aircraft later. Very important for countries not to make this mistake.

Saudi Arabia relies on blackwater and other western mercs so it doesn't help, this is even why they struggle that much, even before Iran sent a single ak there which they use to legitimize their war ("this is because of Iran")

I remember their was some twitter drama about these types of videos and some people get very bitter and angry about them because it looks................................nice. Theirs a certain thriving on negativity that has unfortunately affected the minds of many and has led to more stress and depression. Not this particular video but some similar to it causes some people to get an aneurism.

How Iran treats Afghan immigrants

Many need to convey to others that Iran is some total authoritarian hell-hole with little to no redeeming qualities. So videos showing normal people just living life are an affront to their agenda.

It KILLS them to see Iranians just breathing and walking because it goes against the "Iran is burning under the fires of liberal democratic liberation". Although there are problems (many problems) regular mundane life should be showed as some sort of counter-balance to all the negativity surrounding Iran.

The true face of Iran enemy

Quote from our Israeli PDF member " Beny Karachun" in the Iran Economics thread who was incidentally banned yesterday.

"We kill your generals and engineers in your capital city."o_O

when they finally get thrown out of Middle East their only legacy will be murder of unarmed women and children and the assassinations of scientists. Not much to be proud of if you ask me.:undecided:

And Iranian weapons kill dozens of Zionist settlers/soldiers every month. One nation is one of martyrs the other is super joon-doost lol.

He had a point though. The perception of Iran-VS-Israel is clear. Israel holds many high profile successes over Iran in sabotage and assassinations. Aside from the odd “IDF lieutenant linked to intelligence apparatus dies in car accident” report every now and then. There haven’t been many deaths attributed to Iran that would shake up Israel’s political/military leadership. Not in the way Hajj-Qassem or Fakhrizadeh did for Iran.

IRGC really should have launched multiple comprehensive attack against sensitive Israeli infrastructure and personnel utilizing overt means but we’re stuck with this “shadow war” of which we assume Iran is okay with the current status quo(?)

  • Extremists overthrow the government in Pakistan
  • Terrorist attacks take place on Indian territory, possibly with chemical weapons
  • Pakistan allies itself with terrorist organizations or gives them shelter to act against India
  • An extremist leader in Pakistan incites against India
  • Pakistan breaks off all relations with the West and builds up the West as an enemy
  • The US embassy is attacked in Pakistan
  • Liberal forces are persecuted and tortured, and secular ideology is completely eradicated. Sharia law is introduced as a result of the Islamist coup, similar to the Taliban.
  • Religious minorities such as the Ahmadiya or Shiites are ethnically persecuted and suffer genocide as a result of the new government.
you forgot the most important of all:
" WATER "
It's just a matter of time when we will have to attack them again for water.

Those videos are filmed in a limited number of affluent neighborhoods of Tehran and they showcase a small minority of economically privileged individuals. As such, they aren't representative of the lives of average Iranians under two key aspects: first, level of material wealth (in this regard, even the average person in the west is not having it as good) and second, cultural habits, seeing how women in ordinary and working class areas for instance have a far greater propensity to observe hejab, and mostly of their own volition.

Now here's the real question: why is a certain audience assuming that the sight of chadori and hejabi women going about their daily business - as opposed to the culturally westernized upper class doing the same thing, would be somehow reflective of a total authoritarian hell-hole? Why are they incapable of understanding the Iran and its government is very different from the way NATO and zionist propaganda are portraying it, unless shown images of the Iranian upper class? It's irrational.

Show this audience traditional hejabi women shopping at a not too fancy foodstuff market - as regular and mundane as life beyond politics can possibly get, and they'll scoff at it because it doesn't conform to their Hollywoodesque ideal-types. Moreover there's a terrible mix up of topics here (what do wealth and culturally-induced clothing habits have to do with political repression or absence thereof?). A clear sign of social-economic contempt superimposed with Islamophobia.

Issue's with those audiences to whom regular life equals financial opulence and western dress code, and who imagine that a community of pious Moslems is synonymous with "living under a dictatorial state" and "having no life". Pitiful and dangerous.

There exists such a fundamental misunderstanding about Iranian culture, history, people and society amongst those in the West, so much so that any sort of effort to try and explain to them, no matter how comprehensive: Will only lead to a deepening of respective differences on the matter, although only one position is valid, that being the native Iranian position. -- Ethnocentric idealism of depraved Westerners who think their shit doesn't stink has lead to the death and displacements of 100s-of-millions. Only recently have they been made to realize the extent of their ancestors treachery upon the global south. Even in the face of such a sordid reality, they still falsely claim this hollow mantel of "moral superiority" when in all reality, no such thing exists. All is relative and what is real is all that matters. Iranians choose what is best for Iranians (whatever that may end up being or is now), not what the West says is good for Iran.

... Iran has always been an Eurasian/Asian people rooted in a diametrically different set of cultural/moral/ethical/religious norms that have more or less lasted in some form or another, for thousands of years. Although I view White Europeans as distant cousins (genetically), on the cultural side, we just aren't the same and I can't be more thankful for this...

I'm not trying to appeal to Iranian patriotism for the sake of it, but I would be remiss if I didn't acknowledge that the tenacity and resilience of our ancestors are why we still have a strong cultural identity even today, thousands upon thousands of years later. Many people just cannot come to grasp what this truly means and will never enjoy such a privilege.

Excellent and true. We see here even those that are supportive are so from a western lens. Iran is different in pith and essence like no other .To understand is to shed all presumptions and ‘logic’ naturally tainted by local environments. Hard to do for those that have never been immersed in Iran. That said, still high kudos to these souls since it is almost impossible to see outside of the fishbowl. But these people somehow sometimes are able to accomplish that feat. Something I might not have been able to do if I were them. So it’s incumbent on us who have had that advantage of immersion to patiently teach and guide.
