What's new

Iranian-backed militias held rocket attack on the Turkish military observation base near Bashika.

The US has this capability, and their will has been depleted ever since OIF 2003.

No Muslim country has the stomach to accept the amount of losses and financial damage from such a war, not Turkey, not a gulf state.

You are all a failure

You are mistakten. Every Country is prepared to engage in war if miscalculation occurs in the region. So Yes War is always on the table for everyone. Specifically when someone pushes everyone into conflict. Ultimately there is no other choice. Iraq is already under Invasion it will just expand. I personally believe Arab NATO itself will soon also deploy to Iraq due it's destabilizing factors. Turkey will also deploy further into the country

I see Turkey trying things, Arab states aren't interested in such adventures. Turkey is expansionist and they are able to do so unharmed due to NATO status, the US isn't stopping them. Though their missed their major opportunity in Mosul, which they didn't have the stomach for either to start with. Let them do their occasional drone strikes, in a few decades their Kurdish population will triple.

The most important Arab neighbor of Iraq is Saudi Arabia, they took a 'ignore Iraq' policy since 2003, only to turn 180 degrees on this in 2015. Iraq's PM of today has close relations with MBS, they try to advance their influence on Iraqi politics by using Iraq's own discontent with the status-quo, which is Iran-bound militias roaming the country challenging the central state. Saudi Arabia isn't going to invade Iraq, and if they don't then no other Arab state can do so. The only other relevant Arab state in the neighborhood is Egypt, they're far and ain't got the capacity for such an adventure on their own either.

Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan, Sudan, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain.. Can easily put troops in there where economy, military hardware and manpower won't be an issue. With just less then 5% of their strength used. Hack just one of these countries like Algeria or Morocco can put troops in there without much resistance if they mobilize 200k troops

These countries do nothing alone, in the 1991 gulf war they all joined behind big daddy America. Today it's not much different. Libya is fully surrounded by Arab states and we have them letting Turkey take it over.

The war in Yemen is a shameful one, a poor state which is Arab itself.
Libya is not being handled.
Syria has been left.
Iraq, let's look at the above before we start with a new country.

That said, many of the countries you mentioned would suffer major losses in Iraq against militia's with much more war experience.

You are comparing their 1991 version to today's version have you even seen how much strong these countries got today? I don't think so you took that into the measurement. Putting troops inside Iraq is easy and there is nobody to block it since the Americans are not interested in defending as long as they keep some oil fields. An Arab Nato can come in from the South without much chellenge if they want. Turkey currently occupies the north and they will only increase troops levels if rockets land on them and push further south.

But Arab nato could also do the same thing come from the south and take whatever oil fields are left behind in the south

Nah, unrealistic.

Hashish level through the roof in this thread, I thought its pointless to spend time addresing mindless bots but the delusions here have reached a critical level.

Turkey wont be getting mosul let aside dreaming of going anywhere south of that, the talk of an Arab nato doing Turkeys work is laughable, Arab regimes number one enemy aint Iran. Its the muslim brotherhood and those behind it... ie Turkey.

Neither Arab regimes nor Iran, Russia, China will want to see Turkey expanding towards their borders or key lines of interest, Turkey managed to retain a pocket in Syria because of its distant location making it harder to supply the troops and Libya is even further. Iraq has direct borders to Iran and from their to Russia, not even 150k US soldiers could find peace here and they didnt antagonize kurds or Shias.

LoL Turkey expanding borders? It is that your country is a mess specially north side, under saddam a mess and today a mess. You could not clean pkk from your own soil, persians are using pkk. But hey they think they are strong against Turkey 😀 .

May i ask you how we are using PKK ? Same dirt group that is also launching (sporadic) attacks against Iran?

Lol.. You are overrating the ragtag militias the fuq. They can't even defeat IS and even Iran itself together with it's militias can't even fight a none-state actors you think well drilled armies would have issues with these garbage.

Less then 24h the whole country could be put back into the dark ages by cutting the grid and basically it is over. No communications nothing.

Times have changed and Iraq's militias is vintage as fuk. The armies in the region majority of them are modern and use new doctrines that are even superior to western.

They could come and overrun quickly and that is if provoked and given a reason to do so

Take a look at the hell the US faced in its occupational years, they planned wrongly and increased military numbers heavily in 2006/7 known as the surge. And that was after the deadly 90s sanctions, nothing like today where weaponry is available in large amounts.

IS is rag-tag? ISIS captured Turkish army tanks, the army which you overhype so much.

I suggest you take your paper-inflated overhyped inexperienced shit military idea's elsewhere.

We Turks ( Ottoman Empire ) fought super power United Kingdom for Iraq in WW1 and We took 1/3 of İran ( in Azerbaijan region of İran involving the forces of the Ottoman Empire against those of the British Empire and Russian Empire )

Ottoman Empire withdrawal from İran after signing of Armistice of Mudros with The UK in 1918

even ATATURK almost fought The UK for Iraq in 1920s

as of 2021 , by international laws/agreements , Turkey has right to be in İraq to fight terrorism
There are millions of İraqi TURKS in Iraq and still Turkey has rights over Mosul and Kirkuk

according to the Lausanne Peace Treaty , Mosul and Kirkuk's status can not be changed without the consent of Turkey
and Iraq's territorial status have been identified with the Treaty of Good Neighborly Relations between Iraq and Turkey and the UK in 1926

what about terror state İran and İran backed ugly smelly HASHDI SHABI Terrorists for Iraq in international agreements ? nothing

Turkey decided to fight even The US and France in Syria ...... and Turkish Armed Forces killed over 3.200 SAA , IRGC , HEZBOLLAH militants including 6 Generals in İdlib/Syria

Turkey can burn not only İran , but also whole Middle East for İraq and Syria

Turkey ,Azerbaijan and around 40 millions of Turks in İran should liberate South Azerbaijan from Persian invasion
and We will do it in the first next War ......
Long live ottoman Empire! Devlet-i Ebed Müddet.

. .
Iraqi PMUs have made it very clear they are in opposition to Turkish presense in Iraq. We shall see what the Turkish response to this will be.

The status quo will result in more clashes.
