Interesting... It is based on the works of harun yahya, a scholar whom I hold high regards to. He calls it "Turkish Islamic Union". It is not really based on a borderless pan-Islamist agenda, but based on sovereign states under one bloc.

But practically speaking, such a union (be it economic or military) is not possible nor feasible. It is better to have sub-unions among cohesive countries such as GCC, ASEAN, EU, Eurasian,SCO, BRIC rather than such a large union where anything can fall apart anytime due to inter-rivalries (Arab-persian being one).

Why not? Turkish army is helping clean Islamist fanatics in afghanistan and elsewhere. It is doing God's work of purifying the beautiful religion of Islam from impurities. Surely, it is a blessed army in that respect as is the US army and rest of NATO.

I wish all the best to Turkish Army and NATO to clean off these terrorist fanatics in Afghanistan and elsewhere... We learned our lesson in Chechnya but the situation is thankfully under control now. It is time NATO cleans off Talibans in Afghanistan and Afghanistan prospers as a democratic, secular country.

So far NATO has been very tolerant in dealing with these terrorists. I think it should be more straightforward like the Russian army in 2nd chechen war. These fanatics need to be wiped out as soon as possible...
