How did you end up in Jordan? I didn't know there were many Kurds in Jordan?!

My paternal grandparents fled from Iran(Kermashan region) due to some epidemic disease that had spread into Iran. They were freshly married. Large parts of the tribe(Borokai) had already moved to Russia as it hadn't hit Russia and my grandparents were latecomers and when they wanted to come the Russian revolution happened. And half of the family including my great grand parents had to leave but aprox half remained hidden. Today there are about 200 Borokai families in southern Russia, they are very nationalistic, they don't marry any none Borokai Kurds, a couple years ago a cousin of mine in Sineh(Sanandaj) got married to one in Russia.

But luckily they returned wealthy as my great grandfather had some kind of bread factory I belive with a jewish man. As the value of the rupels fell the jewish guy rapidly exchanged everything he had to gold and told my gr grandfather to do the same and leave. He became a big landowner in Iran and settled in Tikab region, the town of Tikab was practically owned by him, the longest road in the town was named after his aftername. At times he sent thousands of goats and lambs to Tehran, he even bought land in Tehran. But he got tricked by greedy family members many times simply because he didn't know Farsi, when one looks at his bookkeeping it's all in Russian.

This is him togheter with my paternal grandmother's father.

Anyway directly after the Rev my grandparents went westwards instead through Iraq and came to Jordan. They wanted to leave ME but on the path in Jordan, Amman they came in touch with a Kurdish family. And after a time as guests at their house they decided to settle. By the way, there are also many Kurds from Iran that fled to Jordan after the Islamic rev. I first thought that was what happened to mine but I was wrong but it ended up with a much more interesting story.

Our purpose was not visiting Kurdistan , But I had visited this province once before .

Been in Marivan , Sanandaj ad other cities and have visited some of the historical places that I don't remember now .
