Iran urges Muslims including Saudi Arabian ‘brothers’ to unite against US

TEHRAN: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani urged Muslims worldwide on Saturday to unite against the United States and assured Saudi Arabians they were “brothers” who had nothing to fear from Tehran.

US President Donald Trump abandoned a landmark 2015 nuclear deal between major powers and Tehran in May and has since reimposed crippling unilateral sanctions.

“What the United States wants of (the Middle East) today is enslavement,” Rouhani told an Islamic unity conference in Tehran.

Instead of “rolling out the red carpet for criminals,” Muslim governments should unite against the United States and “the region’s cancerous tumour”, Israel, he said.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is a staunch Trump ally and a bitter critic of the 2015 deal.

Rouhani urged Iran’s rival Saudi Arabia to end its dependence on “insulting” US military aid.

“We are ready to defend the Saudi Arabian people’s interests against terrorism and superpowers with all our might,” he said.

“We do not ask $450 billion for it and will not insult you.”

It's quite obvious Iran is trying to create a more serious global conflict by uniting the M.E against the west. This is the divisions they want. They hate the idea of relations thawing between foes. The only reason they're making overtures towards Saudi is to drag them down into the mire of a conflict with the west.

Obviously this won't work because no one in their right mind other than palestinians (who always make the wrong choice) will ally themselves with an isolated and sanctioned nation which can only offer pistachios and paper mache jets based on 1950's designs.

a lot of people, especially Pakistanis burry their heads in the sand, but this is so true.
Arab leadership has abandoned any semblance of an Ummah and have thrown their lot in with US/Isreal.
The reason for this is that they know they have no real power and its only the US/Isreali backing that is keeping them in power.

The upshot of all of this is that they can never be a part of any alliance that can resist Us/Isreal.
Proof is in the news all the time. Oman just had a visit by Netenyahooo. Saudi is telling Palestinians to accept Isreal. etc etc.

Bro Chahabar is not anti-pakistan they are isolated and just doing whats in their own interest getting investment and economic development from India why would they turn it down ? they are clever and not stupid and emotional like Pakistanis. Iran is our neighbor who is culturally rich and was the first nation to recognize us Iranians are not committing a genocide they are highly educated, independent and cultured people and have not tried to involve Pakistan in their conflicts at least. The long term Geopolitical interests of Pakistan lie much more with Iran/Turkey all 3 of us are being swamped with refugees caused by western backed wars on our borders and targeted by malicious foreign funded propaganda campaigns.

Before reality my friend every thing is a dream. Even Iqbal saw Pakistan as a dream and look today we are reality. Small children running in streets with Pakistani is now a reality. Before this it was a dream.

Who says peace between Saudis and Iran is not possible. Conflict is always up there in your head in reality there is no conflict on ground once the heads are clear my friend.
